Am I the only one who thinks "glamping" is pointless? Camping out in your backyard with every luxury and convenience at your disposal?
The whole idea of camping is (or at least used to be) roughing it a little. Pitching your own tent, building your own campfire, (extreme cases, if you're into hunting or fishing, catching your own dinner).
I enjoyed it in Boy Scouts, and the last time I went camping ten years ago was fun, sleeping out in the woods, cooking over a fire, it was great.
Glamping defeats the whole purpose of roughing it.
