I really liked the last two episodes. Especially where there's no Elmo's World yesterday and showed more new and old classic clips. And I liked the doctor show Grover put on. And that injured A who kept saying A words driving Grover crazy.
I think what they should do is only play "Elmo's World" if Elmo isn't in the street story or anywhere else on the show. That way they'll still get him in every episode, but have more time to play some classic clips. I thought today's ep was a bit bland, but they did get a Grover the Waiter sketch in. I don't know if it was new or old. I think it was Eric as Grover there. Anyway, it was good to see that. The street story might have been more interesting if they would have brought back the old Guy Smiley/Prince Charming. It seems like they add a new prince every season. I didn't quite see the ending yet so I can't comment there, so I'll write more later on.

Today's episode, was broguth to you todat by P and 10....

Elmo and Zoe play the letter P game (Thankfully with no Mr. P game show host) and Abby Poofs in Prince Charming and Peter Piper....

going along our P theme...

Rhyme time was pointless

And Plugging in my PC I passed by Rachel Ray's perky paradox. Perhaps a present to myself.

Then that stupid hero guy...

South Potato probably only makes sense if you've seen South Pacific

Yada Yada Yada...

And a new Grovers restaruant where he messes up an order by screwing up the rhyme. Leaving Fat Blue starving as there is no rhyme for cheeseburger.

Elmo's World Penguins, which I didn't realize was a rerun

and Gina and Marco finally make an appearance this season.

Where I live, the new episodes don't premiere until 10:00 AM (I live in the Boston, Massachusetts area and get PBS Channel 2). But it sounds like they finally did a Number of the Day that wasn't one of those 2002 organ clips; but at least they still had the Count (these 2006 Number of the Day skits bring back the Count's thunder and lightning; something that wasn't present in the 2002 NOD skits)

You live in the Boston Area? Did you try looking at channel 44 at 8AM? Cuz that's the one I saw it on.

I usually kind of sleep late here, since I am on summer vacation. Hence, I watch (and record) the 10 AM version. I don't go back to school (it's a community college) until September.

I liked that part. It's always good to have different people do the story at the end rather than Trash Gordon all the time. Maybe they'll have something where Big Bird reads to Abby or maybe Bob. He still needs to make an appearance or two this season.

Is it just me or did Murry Monster go from maroon to orange? When he was talking ti the little girl, he look orange.
Could be the lighting? I remember on Monday's Elmo's World, when he's outside talking to the baby about the beach, his nose suddenly looked kind of yellow, then went back to being orange when he returned to his world.

Oh well, today's storyline was interesting to say the least... I'm not sure, but it kept reminding me of Season 36 for some reason. Oh well, that was the best season so far, so I guess this must have been a good storyline, then. See Mr. Penguin made a little comeback today.

And now... AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! ! ! RACHAEL RAY! ! ! RUN AWAY! ! ! RUN AWAY! ! ! MAN, that lecture she gave on Pumperknickle bread was soooooo scary the way she sounded like Cookie Monster when she was savoring it! Eek!

Was happy to see Hero Guy! What a hero! What a guy! Don't know why so many people hate Hero Guy, though.:smirk:

Not ANOTHER Sesame Street Dinner Theater bit... I thought they were put that kind of stuff at rest for the time being to talk about reading, literature, and like topics.
Cool, a new Grover the Waiter sketch! It was a little weird, because I figured since it involved Fat Blue that Frank Oz might have done Grover, but then again, I guess since Jerry Nelson isn't doing any actual puppeteering this season, Frank probably wouldn't be interested.

Now as a I watch, I see an OLD cartoon about the purple rhino.

Man, I miss doing my annual reviews.
