Linda was not on Happy Days. This was a joke in reference to her being totally forgotten on Sesame Street. It was actually not even the crux of the post, but I then explained who Chuck Cunningham was for those who didn't know.
Linda Bove did make a guest appearance on Happy Days in a season 7 episode where Fonzie dated a deaf woman. Of course, Linda played the deaf woman. I forget what the name of the episode was.

Yes, thank you, minor muppetz for backing me up. I was not taking your joke literally because I didn't see the joke. I thought it was just a random reference to when Linda Bove made an appearance on Happy Days.

REally, I didn't realize it waas the same person. I remember that episode where the Fonz has a deaf girlfriend.

Of course, that may be why my joke trying to explain where she was fell flat. Maybe I should have used Shermy.

That's why my best comedy is in stories and sketches, though, and not in comedy monologues.

I'm getting back to other stuff now; I'll be back to see what's new around when the next/last couple isntallments of season 36 air.

Actually... I think that the parody of 24 will be just that, a parody involved as a subsegment in one of the five episodes that haven't aired yet.
The shrinking/growing Big Bird was hyped as the plotline of the two episode season finale, after the mentioning of the hyped parodies for this season. Just hope it leads to expanding the Number of the Day like the story of Numberella did for the number 21.

And as far as DTF's joke... I kinda get it. It's like that Boy Meets World episode, the high school graduation where the main characters meet a grown-up version of Stuart Minkus again... And he says he's going to go back to "that part" of the school, motioning to the off-screen side. The main chracters say they don't go to that part, cause noone there's ever seen after again.
Hope this helps, and have a good day.

Hmmm. It's good to know there's another "Boy Meets World" fan on the board. I remember that episode very well.

That would be cool if they did that on "Sesame Street" with Linda or any lost/forgotten character saying they were at the "other part" of street. I can picture how the characters would react.

Baby Bear: Oooh, that's a scawy pwace.

Telly: Yeah, if we went there we might never come back.

The name of that episode was "Allison" and it was also the girl's name who Linda Bove played. Yeah it looks like Linda has been added to the list of Forgotten Charachters from the TV world. (Charachters who disapeared with no explination, and are never mentioned again) she's now joined Chuck Cunningham (Happy Days) Judy Winslow (Family Matters) Lyman (Garfield Comics) Minkus (Boy Meets World) and Brendan Lambert (Step by Step) I wonder if they all hang out together now. LOL:big_grin:

Yeah, like they are not allowed to cross the street because they may never see us again.

Only difference is Judy, Brenden and Chuck were members of the core family of their shows and just one day we never saw them again. They never explained it within the family. That is why it was weird.

Today I saw the episode where Baby Bear goes to school for the first time. The Elmo's World topic was on school, and at the end I think they talked about three stages: elementary school, middle school, and high school. They talked about graduating, and I think they should have talked about visiting one's old school after he or she graduates. An idea:
Schoolhouse: "And when you finish a school, you can visit your old school once in a while and say hello to your old teachers. You can donate any of your old stuff to them that they can use in their classroom."
Does anybody think this is a good idea?

Maybe we could add to that list John Burns from Taxi, Mr. Bradley from The Facts of Life, and Hilda from The Muppet Show.
