Well, when they first came out with the "Super" Mr. Potato Head in the 80s (which is basically our standard Potato Head of today), the set came with extra parts and features so kids could make either a Mr. or Mrs. Potato Head before they began merchandising a separate Mrs. Potato Head.

And that’s where I’m going back to what I was saying with the two options. Making the character “gender neutral” almost just feels like “Mrs” Potato head is a joke now.

It’s a case where I really wish companies would just learn to actually be honest with their changes than lie and act like they’re honest just for the sake of making sure their companies don’t get in trouble.

EDIT: So I do want to say this, instead of making the character gender-neutral altogether, I think it should be given as a third option for purchase.... so as not to feel like you have all these extra pieces you never want to use if let’s say you just want male parts or another you want female.

So I complained on social media about conservatives who are acting as though the Muppets have been "cancelled," and this one guy (who is a liberal, by the way) goes off at me because I talk a lot about "kiddie" stuff on my account and that I should stick to talking about more "adult" stuff like chicks or something. Like he is one to educate me about what it is okay for me to talk about. He is an unmarried man in his 50s. He should be last guy I should take advice from on this matter. He did realize the error of his ways, but still, I'm not only sick of how right-wing media has been spinning this whole "cancel culture" crap, but I'm also tired of this stigma that the Muppets are "kiddie" stuff.

It is frustrating that people have this stupid mindset where having puppets in a show automatically means it HAS to be for kids. That’s pretty much like saying every single show that’s a cartoon HAS to be a kid’s show.

Ugh. My cellphone is now completely useless because apparently it's now outdated - I can't text, I can't call, so now I have to get another again . . . I get so tired of having to get a new cellphone every few years, get used to how the settings work, redownload ringtones and wallpapers, lose all my old pics and such.
