So...... apparently I was reading specific zodiac signs are related to certain behaviors.

For instance - apparently Leo’s and Sagittarius’ are known to have nasty tempers.

Frankly I don’t know what to make of this if this really is true or not..... but I guess that kind of explains myself at times. 😐

Maybe. When you lose your temper (and no offense, but sometimes it seems like even little things have set you off before), it's actually pretty scary.

I mean, in my case it usually depends on how my day is going. The only time little things can set me off is if I’m just having an absolutely ****** day. Too much stress can mess with the mind.

That or depending on what’s going on in my life. For instance, the stress of quarantine only contributed to the already existing stress of having to sell my old house (hey, perfect timing, right?) and then other issues happened like all the riots and what have you.

With that in mind, I won’t deny I’ve stepped out of line here and there, but I at least own up if I know I did (regardless of what a certain narcissist from Brooklyn, NY has to say about it).

Astrology and horoscopes are fun. But I don’t put too much stock in it. On the Boardwalk there are a number of fortune tellers, who also dabble in palm reading or Tarot cards. (No one seems to have a crystal ball anymore).
I put less stock in psychics. For the Miss Cleo’s and people like that, some of their predictions are hit and miss, or so generalized they can apply to many people.

But there’s no shortage of people willing to fork over their money for a glimpse of the future.

You don’t see wishing wells around too much anymore either. Although around the world, there are many fountains people will throw a coin in and make a wish.
There’s one fountain like that in Vegas in front of Caesar’s Palace. People throw a coin in wishing they hit it big in the casino.

SUCKERS!!!!
At least every so often they take the coins out of the fountain and give it to charity.

Some more about Taxi and Latka’s split personality: in the episode Mr. Personalities, it’s established that Latka has multiple personalities beyond himself and Vic Ferrari. And I think there’s another episode where he appears as Vic, and Elaine says something like “I don’t mind Latka’s split personalities, but don’t like Vic Ferrari”.

and yet, Mr. Personalities is the only episode where Latka becomes anybody other than Vic Ferrari (becoming a cowboy and Alex). I wonder if they planned for Latka to frequently become other people more often but then decided to just have Vic Ferrari be his only alternate personality.

And yet there is an episode, I think from after he was officially cured of his multiple personalities, where he does an impression of Tony, without that being another split personality, and actually imitates the voice (not sounding foreign).

In the past few years, the word “wonky “ has come into parlance. Meaning something odd or strange. I’m not too crazy about the word or it’s usage. It doesn’t seem to sit right.

Your tires are out of alignment, so your car runs wonky!
Nah.

Can't be any worse than how people can't say they're a fan of someone or something anymore, they have to say they "stan" someone or something.

Or how a "simp" went from being a slang term for a simple-minded person to being a slang term for some pussified wimp who walks on eggshells to avoid ******* off woke AF females or something like that, I don't know.

I really hate the term “simp” because it is WAY too overused now.

Like yeah, there are definitely guys out there who you can just tell act all nice and gentlemen like around women as a way to get something from them in return because they feel entitled to it.... but I feel like we’ve reached that point now where if you’re a man and you do anything kind for a woman, even if it’s your own generosity and you feel the woman deserves it, “hur hur ur a simp ur a simp u wanna get ur dick wet” like please just stfu and stop talking.

And yes, I can also agree with the term “stan” as well.

I mean I'm no grammar nazi like a certain former member was around here, but even I get frustrated with the way kids today keep coming up with new meanings for old words and using them out of context within theirn own illogical context . . . no wonder English is the hardest language in the world to learn.

Our town had to shut off the water on our street for most of the day to fix a broken pipe. So for the first time in 20 years, I went to the laundromat.
$4.75 (In quarters) to do a load of laundry?! Dang, the last time I did this Clinton was still in office.
I must say , washing machines are a lot quieter than they used to be.
