I'm glad your dentist appointment went well, Erin. I hope you feel 100% really soon!

MBM! She's back! Hehe, and you know, I was amazed at how gorgeous the weather was by me, too. I actually went for a walk with my neighbor this afternoon, it was so nice. Unseasonable... but I love it! And I adore the thought that it had something to do with Richard... I think it did, too.

I'm so excited! I finally got the chance to watch the end of Trading Places, thanks to the link that heralde posted in here on Christmas Day... I figured today would be the perfect day to do it. And it was great. Richard was terrific (of course) and so much fun to watch! I had a smile on my face watching him. I loved it!

And heralde, that is such funny trivia from "What's the Name of That Song?" What a catch that is! (Oh my gosh, and how weird..... as I was writing this post, I glanced up from the Quick Reply box, and I saw that "What's the Name of That Song?" is playing on MC Radio right now!) Very cool, hehe. Thanks for sharing that! And what a nice entry in your blog. That is rully great. Thank you for posting that, too.

Marty, it's so cool to see you posting in this thread more often! I'm happy the RHLC was calling out to you, hehe.

And, it really is amazing... 16 years. I have been having a Richard fest tonight... besides watching Trading Places, I've also been playing a lot of songs that he sang lead on (just finished "Simon Smith and His Amazing Dancing Bear). And I think I'll watch some Fraggle Rock or Muppet Show later tonight, too.

We miss you, Richard.

::waves at Skye:: Hi! And "Hi" also to Meep and Bubble Guy! (See, that, that rhymes! Hehe)

Glad you got to see Trading Places and enjoyed it. I'd definitely recommend seeing the whole film at some point, it's just plain hilarious (though WARNING, a bit raunchy!). I've always kinda had a crush on Dan Akryond, hehe, probably from Ghost Busters. What's great about Richard's performance is that he has very few lines and really carries the scene with facial expressions. Not many actors in Hollywood have facial expressions nowadays, hehe.

Yeah I still can't believe I heard that bit on "Sing Along" last night. I don't watch it too often but last night I was interested in watching the scene where Linda performs "Sing" in Sign Language (if I had the time, I'd try to learn it myself). And that's cool how "What's the Name of that Song" suddenly appeared on MC radio, hehe.

And thanks for checking out the blog, glad you liked it! I had planned to write something for Jan. 7 for awhile, but forgot all about it until today! At which point, I paniced! I'll probably have to go back and fix some typos at some point, hehe. But overall, I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Richard fest, hehe, perhaps I'll take in some Fraggle Rock tonight. And listen to Muppetcast again, it was so exciting to hear Joceyln Steveson's stories about Richard.

It's cool that you all had good weather. ^_^

Joceyln talked about Richard! I didn't see that the first time!

How far into it was it, about, do you know?

I think it's towards the end; it's after Joceyln talks about Jerry Juhl and just before she talks about her work with saving children's Television. (So that would mean it's between!)

Richard: ::scoldingly:: You learned that on Sesame Street!

Heralde: Yeah, yeah I know!

I really enjoyed her interview; you get a feel of what it's like to have a career in media and writing and how you have to volunteer for projects, take chances and ask questions (like when she asked Jerry Juhl if he could teach her to write a TV script).

Did anyone else here have astoundingly good weather? It was like gorgeous out today, and I couldn't help but think it was a little bit related to Richard.
Ugh, no. Not only was it unseasonably warm for January (60s! Temperatures in the 60s!), but it rained off and on and there were even tornado watches and warnings. My mom even wondered at one point, "What month is this?"

Richard: Hey, don't try to pin that on me!

Sorry, Richard; didn't mean to offend. It's just...a week ago the ground was covered in about three to four inches of snow, and maybe an inch or two layer of ice. And then BAM! spring thaw three months early.

We had wonderful weather yesterday. Me and Robert spent nearly 4 hours ripping up deck planks at the house. ("the house" being this mobile home that him and his parents are fixing up to be rented out) And we tore down an unusable pool as well. Had a lot of fun with it.

Also, after seeing your blog, MBM on Wordpress.com (if it's someone else's blog, sorry! I forgot who actually wrote it for a moment...) I've decided to try to start (and keep) yet another blog. Hopefully I'll actually keep this one. The one that I've seen looks quite nice, and well done.

Like I don't have enough abandoned blogs laying about on the internet already. XD

It was actually my Blog, hehe. It's OK, that happens a lot on this thread! Hehe. Thanks for the compliment, glad you liked it!

Sounds like you had a very active day yesterday, which is great! Yeah you should definitely start another Blog! This is my first one and I've really enjoyed doing it so far. Don't feel bad, lol, I have a friend who can't finish his blog because he forgot the screenname, hehe.
