And btw, nice to hear from you, SkeeterMuppet!

And that's good that your Christmas went well, Bubble Guy, I also listened to my favorite Christmas songs.

What a coincidence - I got a copy of that same CD this year. I got to listen to it a few times before we got to the Epiphany; in our house, that's the cutoff date for being able to listen to Christmas music. And yes, some very good tunes on it - loved the Peace Carol and their rendition of Silent Night.

And you simply have to love the Electric Mayhem's version of the Beach Boys hit "Little Saint Nick" :sing: :halo:

They wouldn't allow me to have the whole band together.

I got that soundtrack last year, awesome to have classic Muppets at Christmas! I definitely love "Peace Carol", "Little St. Nick" and "Silent Night." And also the song about Alfie, lol, weird but cute. And "The Christmas Wish."

"I don't know if you believe in Christmas or if you have presents underneath the Christmas tree. But if you believe in love that will be more than enough for you to come and celebrate with me."

Aww yay, I just listened to this album again earlier today. I love this album! All of the songs are so great. "Little Saint Nick" is definitely one of my "fun favorites," hehe, while "The Peace Carol," "A Baby Just Like You" and so many others are my "beautiful and sweet favorites."

Alfie the Christmas Tree would make such a cute Muppet. I haven't seen the special since I was very young and I don't remember if Alfie was actually present or if he was just in John's little story.
But it's fun to imagine what he would look like.

I saw the TV special a couple years ago. I can't remember what they did with Alfie, I'll have to see it again. It was good for the most part but heh, even though it's called "A Christmas Together", there is definitely more of John than there is of the Muppets, lol. There are a few cute Muppet moments of course, but it's largely John doing numbers while the Muppets watch and nod, lol.

Still, John does tell the whole Christmas nativity story, which is great. And then there's that adorable exchange between John and Kermit:

Kermit: There was this one frog who used to say "Everything's as easy as falling off a log!"...and then one day...he croaked.

John: HE DIED? ! (Hilarious reaction btw )

Kermit: No, he croacked. "Help, help!" he croacked! He'd fallen off a log.
