"Can you do it one more time?

"Certainly!"

And can you do it really fast?"

"Watch this! (Pirates of Penzance)

Wow that list is always astounding to hear. Reminds me of reading the amount of posts on a certain MC thread.
Wow, that took a lot of lung power! "and Elton J., he wasn't bad...and Edgar B. - he's Charlie's dad." But it was really clever how they managed to work in all the names - and they've gotten a lot of mileage out of "Very Model of a Modern Major-General."

That said - breathe, Scooter, breathe! (And I wonder how many takes it took for them to get it right?)

I've only seen bits and pieces of 'Rent,' Snowball, and I really like the song "Seasons of Love." And I can certainly see why you'd find a few correlations between Angel and Richard (who himself is an angel now).

I certainly am pleased that things are starting to look rosier for you Sara. I hope they only get better now.

I've downloaded Richard's Muppetcast tribute and it's so wonderful. I'm collecting all the previous episodes now.

I hope things only continue to get better for you, Sara. I am sure Richard--like he does for all the members here--will be watching over you.

Going off topic, I'm disappointed because one of my favorite Broadway musicals has ended. And then there's my favorite character Angel, who reminds me of Richard.
Oh I didn't realize Rent was closing! I've never seen the whole thing but I liked the soundtrack and got to meet Anthony Rap (the original Mark). That is a good comparison, Snowball. I've also always liked that "One Song" where Mark I think years to have his one moment of glory "before the virus takes hold."

Btw Snowball, I know it can be hard to jump into conversations, but definitely feel free!

Another thing, I rented the fourth disk of Muppet Show Season 3 from Netflix the other day. I think I will try to get it for Christmas if I can, it's got some of my favorite episodes like Robin Hood and Camelot and the one where they all turn into chickens, lol I like Seasons 1 & 2 but this is the first time I've really laughed out loud.

And the photos of Richard are great. Btw, did you see the size of his muscle in one shot? WOW!

The footage of Of Muppets and Men looked really good on DVD. They did show the footage of Richard and Scooter without the sound. It's interesting how when the sound is gone, you notice visual details more. Seeing Richard's pride and glee at that moment, I instantly had Junior Gorg in mind, lol.

I've said this before but it's so strange, sometimes it's like you can almost "see" the characters in a performer, even if they don't look alike at all. It's not like you're seeing a physical image, but more like experiencing the essence. I'm reminded of what Steve once said about the wonders of puppeteering, "How can people do that?" Lol

Agreed. For me, that happens with a lot of fictional characters, not just The Muppets (although The Muppets are the only ones with really deep level of "seeing").

That's so awesome that you got to meet Anthony Rapp. It would be awesome to meet any of the original cast, especially Wilson Jermaine Heredia(Original Angel) and Idina Menzel(Original Maureen.) Idina Menzel's actually the reason I first saw Rent, because I became a fan of hers after listening to the soundtrack of Wicked. Anyway, that's Roger who sings 'One Song Glory.'

Ack, thanks! Like I said I've only heard the soundtrack! But Anthony was very cool and signed his CD. And he was one of the first famous people I ever met which gave me hope, lol. Plus he rocked as Charlie Brown!
