Going off topic, I'm disappointed because one of my favorite Broadway musicals has ended. And then there's my favorite character Angel, who reminds me of Richard.
Oh I didn't realize Rent was closing! I've never seen the whole thing but I liked the soundtrack and got to meet Anthony Rap (the original Mark). That is a good comparison, Snowball. I've also always liked that "One Song" where Mark I think years to have his one moment of glory "before the virus takes hold."
Btw Snowball, I know it can be hard to jump into conversations, but definitely feel free!
Another thing, I rented the fourth disk of Muppet Show Season 3 from Netflix the other day. I think I will try to get it for Christmas if I can, it's got some of my favorite episodes like Robin Hood and Camelot and the one where they all turn into chickens, lol I like Seasons 1 & 2 but this is the first time I've really laughed out loud.
And the photos of Richard are great. Btw, did you see the size of his muscle in one shot? WOW!
The footage of Of Muppets and Men looked really good on DVD. They did show the footage of Richard and Scooter without the sound. It's interesting how when the sound is gone, you notice visual details more. Seeing Richard's pride and glee at that moment, I instantly had Junior Gorg in mind, lol.
I've said this before but it's so strange, sometimes it's like you can almost "see" the characters in a performer, even if they don't look alike at all. It's not like you're seeing a physical image, but more like experiencing the essence. I'm reminded of what Steve once said about the wonders of puppeteering, "How can people do that?" Lol
