You have to admire a performer who's secure enough to hold his own in a scene with a team like Jim and Frank, who were so close and amazingly talented, especially with Bert and Ernie.

Come to think of it, not many of the other Sesame Street Muppet characters ever got in the middle of a scene with Bert and Ernie. But here he manages to add something new, give B&E something to react to and play off of and it doesn't take away from anyone's screen time.

Not to mention he made great use of the goofy, yet loveable stereotype by making Junior someone to learn from.
