Yes, another great guest from the Muppet Show left us. Although I've never seen her episode, I know she was very talented.

That show was great! I agree though; I did not at all get a good impression of Morley. It was sort of like you knew he wasn't a fan of the muppets, and he wasn't afraid to show it!
:frown: I didn't catch where he cuts Richard off, but I can believe it! I did notice though the part where Frank is talking, and Richard ends up fighting him for attention, lol!

Sarah, I'm glad you and Steven are doing okay so far, and I can't wait to see the vidio if you make it!

Just wanted to stop in and wish a happy 4th to all the U.S. RHLC (and MC)people, and to wish everyone else an excellent day in general.

Also meant to post this as well;

(up in heaven, two days earlier)

(Jim, Richard, Eren, Jerry and others are hovering near the Pearly Gates - they are all wearing evening dress and holding large bouquets of flowers)

Jim: Okay, places, everyone, here she comes.

(Beverly Sills enters, having been admitted and properly greeted. The group starts shouting "Bravo" and "Encore" and tosses the flowers to her.)

Happy 4th everyone!
:attitude:

I just showed my mom the special. She seemed to like it, but didn't really comment much, except that she was surprised Kermit and Piggy didn't have much to say on their relationship. Well, Kermit didn't. Piggy never even got the chance, and here I personally thaught she'd be clambering for attention on the issue! Either:

A. They were tired of people constantly asking about it.
B. They ran out of time.
C. Morleyy just had enough of the whole thing.

Anyway, I also showed her your pictures, Sarah, and she loved them! She said Steven was cute, and that you looked a little like a friend's daughter from work.

Thanks ilikemuppets! Happy Independence Day all!

"The Eagle inside belongs to us!" (1776 Musical) :attitude:

Sorry guys, but after watching the special a couple more times, I'm gonna have to defend Morley a bit here. Now before you start throwing things at me, let me explain!

I feel like he was genuinely amused by Piggy and the Muppets. How could he not be, he's with five of the funniest guys in the business! But that left him a bit unsure and uncomfortable about how to proceed with the interview.

And yeah it does kinda look like he's interrupting Richard, but it also looks like they may have already made the point earlier and he was just trying to reiterate it for the camera. Or they could have decided later in the editing room that that moment was the best.

Though I agree, Richard was fighting for attention after Frank spoke, hehe. Makes sense, they were probably most interested in interviewing Frank. So it was good that he took the initiative.

Rest in Peace Beverly Sills, the OPERA singer.

well, uh. No video...for awhile guys. Um....it's kinda strange just out to actually...put it.

*sighs a bit* My mother dosn't mind us being together, however; she sent him home Monday morning, to my great dismay.

No he didn't need to go back home, my Mother sent him home. Against both of our wishes. She was claiming that for the time, he was "brainwashing" me. Just because he isn't Pure Ch---he dosn't believe what she believes, I'll leave it at that.

*frowns deeply* It's two whole days after the fact, and I'm still steamed over it!

Gah, I'll just talk when I'm less rattled about the whole thing. Hope your 4th of July wasn't absolute CRAP like mine was.

Sorry all that happened! I don't really know your situation, so I won't comment too much. Parents and kids often disagree and it's annoying and hard, but remember they do what they do because they care about you. My prayers are with you. We all go through difficult times, just stay positive and keep going.

Hi Sara. Sorry for the grumblings and rumblings you're feeling towards your family at the moment. Just try to mentalize that it'll get better and you have to take it one day or step at a time. Phase out the negativity and try to deal as plainly or non-plustly as possible, with respect towards your parents cause they're still your parents. Not sure if this is the best advice, but just know it's not that long until things get better.

Now go and have a cuddle with that Scooter plushy of yours, that's what your aching conscious yearns for to relieve all the stress of the waking world around you.

I'm sorry you're having such a hard time, Sara. And I'm sorry your 4th of July was so bad. I'll admit, I'm with you. I had one of those days where it just felt like almost nothing seemed to go right. It really is so hard, but try to stay strong, Sara. Trying to take it one day at a time is one of the best ways to try and make it through, just as Ed mentioned. I hope everything works out ok.
