Well yeah, I can easily imagine the occasional celebrity coming on to the Sesame Street set and being annoying for one of three reasons: They're bitter at having to appear on a kid's show. Their ego is so inflated, they expect everyone to hang on their every wim. Or, the famous one, they don't get along with kids or puppets.

Taking the show as seriously as he did, I'm sure Richard would not have appreciated either of the three!

Heck, no. We saw how Del interacted with Rita.

Picture, if you will, a guest strutting around the SS set with a sour look on his face and a huge, overinflated balloon marked "Ego" floating directly over his head. This guest walks by one of the Muppet sets...and Richard pops up with a blow dart pipe and fires off a well-placed shot, which shatters the Ego balloon.

In real life, Richard probably would have confronted the ego-centric one in the dressing room or on the set and said something along the lines of "Listen, pal, I don't care how many awards you've won or how many million-dollar flicks you've made. Around here, you play by our rules, so lose the attitude. Got it?"

And there probably would have been a few rounds of "your face" thrown in for good measure.

Wow... Great dream Sara, if it could be called great. At least it sounds better than the one I came up consciously after waking up yesterday to soothe myself after a bad one. The subject of that "good" dream might be a bit morbid, not sure if you'd want me to share it.

And Erin... You're soooo close! Two more posts! Your face!

Yaaay... Erin sure is gettin' closer! Awesome!

So, this doesn't totally have to do with Richard, but I put all my silly Muppet thoughts/happenings in here, so I just wanted to tell y'all this, hehe. I was at this place today that had XM radio on, and they had it on the '70s station, so that was rully cool. But the coolest thing was when they decided to play a "Favorite TV theme song" and it was the theme from The Muppet Show!! :excited: Haha, that was just so cool to hear!

So the theme from the Muppet Show made the favorite theme song cut. Nice to see that some guys on the radio have some taste these days.

Mom and I were just up in the rec room watching the Best of the Muppet Show disc (as in Harry Belafonte and Linda Ronstadt and John Denver), since it's been a long day. She got a good solid chuckle out of Richard (as Janice) and Linda doing "It's In His Kiss," and then she commented that Richard seemed to be having a lot of fun on that particular show (which I'll bet he was).

Whoops, in between my Richard and Muppet-related ramblings, I've noticed that I appear to have hit senior member status. Should I break out the orange juice and donuts?

Absolutely, hehe. I loved that I was able to hear it plus that it was "Favorite"! Very cool!

I adore that "It's In His Kiss" song. I was actually just singing along with it the other day. That is definitely a fun number, and I'll bet you're right... I'll bet Richard had a great time doing that show!

Yaaaaaayyy Erin! Congrats! You betcha! Oh you know what? Don't worry about it, I'll get 'em out! *Sets out the orange juice and chocolate-covered doughnuts* Mmmm, yummy!

Thank you, Carrie, thank you kindly. (takes a swig of orange juice and chomps into a donut) Cheers, everyone.
