Anyway, yeah the Richard round table, that's cute! I imagine Richard would have enjoyed that episode, since Janice rarely got to interact with the guest stars. And Janice was the perfect choice to sing with Linda (there's so very few really rocking female singers in the world). I remember in the Of Muppets and Men book, Linda was rehearsing her "Blue Bayou" song and Richard came in and said in Janice voice, "She sings rully good!" :flirt:
Yeah...it must have been fun to watch the recording sessions for the musical numbers in that show. Wonder what the duet between Richard and Linda must have looked like?

As for the Harry Belafonte episode, I like to think about what went on in the studio when they recorded 'Day-O' and 'Turn the World Around.'

Yep... Especially when you consider they performed that song at Jim's funeral services, or so it's been said either by Brian or here on the boards.

And now... We take you to a secret ceremony taking place at the RHLC's headquarters, at the point where it adjons the SM Lounge/Lodge.

Trudging into the closet entrance to the Senior Lounge/Lodge, tapping can be heard upon the brick that admits newly crowned SM's into the facilities for
such dignitaries.
Fright this way Ms. Role. Or is it roll? Wonder if it's a buttered roll. Ooh, maybe we can have some hot cross buns with the rolls!

Both continue walking until they reach a table shaded by the bright orange canopy above. Let me see, yes, here we are... The RHLC table.
Ahem, your attention please. It is my honor to proclaim the Richard Round Table... Nice to see it completely filled up, as the Senior staff of that illustrious club are now all Senior
Members.
From the president, Sara (ReneeLouvier), to the main vocal secretary Marianne (MeepBorkMeep) to the audio/visual consultant Heralde to the daydreamer and music coordinator, Caroline (Sky) to the valued treasurer William (Ilikemuppets)... To the final member, the newsletter journalist
Erin (Muppet Newsgirl) !
And here is your badge of Senior Membershiphood... An MC SM Kermit The Frog badge with your name in silver lettering upon the collar. And of course, here's your RHLC Senior Staff medal, not sure if you prefer it to be Scooter glasses or the show's logo which ever so graced his green jacket. Up to you... Raise a glass of liquid sunshine and doughy naut of chocolateness for Erin.

Yeah, "Turn The World Around" would be such a fun song to sing and perform, I'd imagine. Plus it's a very sweet song that really has a lot of meaning behind it. Which would definitely make sense for them to sing it at Jim's funeral services, Ed. I'm glad you mentioned that!

Weeeee, I love being the daydreamer and music coordinator! Talk about a couple jobs I can do darn perfectly, hehe!

(looks at badges) Let's see...I'll take the Scooter glasses. (pins badge to jacket)

Fellow senior members and RHLC-ers, I humbly accept my admission into the worthy upper echelons of the club and of the forum in general, and I humbly accept the post of newsletter journalist for the RHLC senior ranks, and I humbly take my seat at the Richard Henry Hunt Memorial Round Table.

Okay, enough being humble for one day...pass the donuts around and let's just goof off.

Hee... And here I just made those positions up based on your names/locations and junk. Glad you like 'em.
*Refills glass with orange juice. Here are those doughnuts you ordered Erin.
Must remember to thank Sarah Y, she runs the bakery you know.

Mmm, mil and Boston Scream.

I sure am having fun, and I know you'll be the best coordinator and daydreamer there is, too. :flirt:

Anyway, I just bought six packs of Grasshopper Cookies. I love those things. And I bough seven bags of Potato skins. I have not had those things in years and they are so yummy!!! Boy, I'm a responsible treasurer...
