I don't recall seeing the pencil sketch, so yeah I hope someone posts it too!

Hmm, well dreams are very odd, you don't know where they'll pop up sometimes (or why). Perhaps you are reacting to the stress of school. I know when I'm going through a stressful period, everything suffers, even seemingly unrelated things.

Stress it a verr complicated thing. Sometimes too much of it can be a bad thing and sometimes a little can be a healthy thing.

I know that for me there have been times where stress has completly tore me up inside. Other time I have performed well and better under in then I would hav with out it. Somtimes I have not worked very well under it but as more of it was brought upon me I started to preformbetter under it. Somtimes I have performed well under no stress or pressrue at all. But I guess somtimes it all depends on just exectly what your doing.

Yeah, they're cracking the whip around here. I mean, we're only four weeks in and one of my profs is already mentioning midterms. Ouch...:boo:

I think it's going to start lightening up a bit...and I hope it does...'cause let's face it, I don't think anyone in here likes the thought of Richard in tears.

Yeah, stress does depend on what you're doing, plus it depends on how you handle stress usually. And it definitely is true that a little bit of stress in your life can be a good thing sometimes. I know that for me personally, I work best under pressure, so stress doesn't really bother me too much. I do have a few things coming up for school too, but we all know how to handle stress best for us personally. Stress sucks, but it is something we all have to deal with some time, unfortunately.

Best of luck to you, Erin!

It's true, you do occasionally need a bit of stress to motivate you. If you're too laid back, your work will suffer. Though, my problem is I give myself TOO much stress. I have to learn to keep it in perspective.

Ok, heh, interesting dream last night! Kermit was depressed and bored so he was walking around the Muppet Show theater and discovered one of Scooter's computer games. The object of the game: the more ways you get what you want because your Uncle owns the theater, the more money and points you score. Honestly! lol Oddly creative...and Kermit actually started enjoying it!

....well it had to happen. As before mentioned, I have a bad habit of losing jewelry....

And I lost the engagement ring part of the two ring set. It's somewhere in my Mother's car. But it has eluded me so far. I didn't even get to take a picture of it yet! I do have a picture of the other ring, the wedding ring. I guess I'm just not meant to have the set...or something.

Was in a real bad funk for the wedding, unfortunately. And let me explain it too.

Katie (my friend who got married) had told me "I'm not going to be having bridesmaids." and furthermore stated "Wofford (her husband), didn't want any groomsmen." and it was because of this statement, that made it clear.

"Wofford dosn't want anyone else between me and him." Meaning he couldn't wait to get to marrying her, which made a lot of sense. Me and him share a common bond: We both have ADHD. Meaning we would like it now, quick, and as best as possible! That and he loves her very much, which kinda is a two-fold deal.

So, Wofford's up on the platform, and Bud (some guy I know around church) helps the Bride & Groom's Mother's to their seats, then he walks Josie (Katie's sister) down the aisle. She stands where the Matron of Honor would stand.

I had figured, okay, if anybody else is going to be in the wedding, it would be Josie. That made a lot of sense to me. Even though Katie wouldn't have Bridesmaids, she had told me Josie would be up there anyways. Makes sense.

Then, Bud comes walking down the aisle with Katie Fox. The other Katie stands beside Josie. And then I look up there again, and I realize there's some other dude standing beside Bud.

That would make The Other Katie....a Bridesmaid.

Bride Katie had told me on many different occasions, that she would have no bridesmaids.

I don't know why, but I was seriously ticked off! I've known Bride Katie longer then Katie Fox has....I....I was really happy that Bride Katie had gotten married, and all.

And I was a crying wreck at the wedding, and so was Wofford's sister; whose name eludes me right now. But we seemed to be one of few who were crying. Then came the reception. I had kinda cooled off about the whole "The Other Katie got to be a Bridesmaid, and I didn't." deal....until I saw the large table up on the Preacher's platform, where the Bride and Groom would sit.

Jealousy reared it's ugly head again, when I saw that The Other Katie got to sit up there. Which honestly would make perfect sense. She was a bridesmaid, she got to sit up there, along with Bud, and Josie. The other dude who was a groomsman didn't want to sit up there, or something, so the last seat, beside Josie was occupied by her son (who is like maybe over a year old or something) Keith. Or 'Little Keith' as most of us call him, because he's named after Josie & Katies Dad.

I put on a smile, but I was just slightly fuming until it came to toss the bouquet, and I caught it perfectly. Then I was all smiles and stuff.

So maybe I was selfish or what. I really don't know. I honestly think there was maybe one person Bride Katie would have picked over me for a single Bridesmaid (other then Josie who I knew was already in it.) Would have been Lindsey. Who has known Katie longer then I have by about 1 year. (I've known Katie ever since she was 3 years old, and I was 5 years old.)

Hey li'l cuz? Just think... You caught the bouquet, which means you'll be next up there on that altar. So don't let this petty jealousy ruin what should be a time of happiness. If you need to call and talk this over with Bride Katy to smooth things over, then do so at some neutral site and try to be as calm and explanative about the matter as possible, allowing her to say her piece and see what sort of peace the two of you reach. As far as the engagement rng, if it's in your mom's car, then relax a little and make some time during an afternoon or something to inspect the car to try and find it. If not, then I hope you have the receipt and can go to the jeweler's to get a replacement ring. Keep positive Sara, and remember that soon those wedding bells will toll for thee.

It didn't really "ruin" it actually. After a few minutes into the reception, I was having a pretty good time actually. (The reception was almost 2 hours long, if not longer.)

And yeah, once Katie gets back from Charleston. (Wofford is going to Culinary Arts School there, and they have a house that is Wofford's Fathers and they're kinda having something of a honeymoon there, between him having to be at classes and working.) I'll talk with her a bit, calmly and rationally.

And about the ring. Well, I got it off of ebay. So no receipt (at least to use in the fashion you're speaking of), but I will comb all over that darned car to try and find it.

And if not? ....cest la vie.

Yeah, there's probably a perfectly good reason behind the bridesmaid story. And like Ed said, it'll be you up there ere long.

It's kind of strange (at least for me), when you realize that suddenly your friends (and other members of your generation) are now old enough to get married, and are doing so. One of my former roommates is a wife and mother already...and our A&E editor is getting married sometime this summer after she graduates, and I think she's trying to invite all of us to the wedding.

Might I recommend purchasing a small metal detector for use in the car? Don't feel bad, Sara...I too misplace a lot of things...and I seem to misplace my wallet and car keys with alarming frequency.
