I know, I know, it's getting to the point where I almost want to avoid TV and movies entirely. It feels like "we" have nothing in common anymore. It becomes very clear that good or bad, this isn't it, this won't make me happy. So I should try to enjoy real life.

But you're right, entertainment is necessary when life becomes too much. I guess in that case, we all need to figure out what we enjoy and go with it, regardless of what's popular at the moment.

That's exactly right. Finding the things we love is a big part of life! And not listening to what people think or say about the things we love is by far just as important. Ya know, we like what we like, and we're darn proud of it!

I would also think hat entertainment has also gone down in the way and level of discipline that people have and take in their craft. It's just not the same anymore.

Here's a couple Two-Headed Monster sketches. I don't know about anyone else, but I never liked it when they were treated like just one monster, saying "He" and all. Lol

The Two Headed Monster take turns reading a story to each other

The Two Headed Monster need to find a pair of shoes they agree on (I think I remember seeing this one)

My mom keeps mentioning a skit they did with a pencil, and one of them waves the pencil like a conductor's baton. I wish they'd post that.

Must have been fun watching Jerry and Richard go through the paces on the set.

Haven't posted here in a while... The sketch you talk of Erin, I have that one on my video tapes. The 2HM takes the pencil with a broken tip and use it in lots of different ways, one being the conductor's baton you speak of. And then, a little boy I've come to identify as Aunt Polly's Nephew comes in and sharpens the pencil to use it to write a thank-you letter to his aunt, the 2HM laughing at him for using the pencil for what it was intended for before they leave the boy to finish his letter.

Ah, excellent, excellent. It aired when I was a little kid; I don't remember it, but Mom keeps saying that she pretty much cracked up over it. I'd like to see that some time.

On a more somber note...I had a sorta-Muppet-related dream recently, but it's kind of depressing...and it involved a certain Muppet wielder in a woe-is-me state. Details on page 8 (I think) of the Dreams About Muppets thread.

Very cute clips! Thanks for posting them, heralde! I had seen the shoe one before (love it!) and the story one was totally great! Haha, they're so awesome! Hehe, definitely unusual and very fun characters!

The sketch that Ed posted about sounds so cute, too! Who knows, maybe someone will post it one of these days!

Wow, Erin, that sure was quite a dream you had. Very sad. I don't blame you for having a tough time figuring out what to make of it.

Yeah...but I think part of it is my brain reacting to the weight of ten million assorted deadlines; English majors do not lead cushy existences here.

It was just kind of haunting...and a tad creepy, now that I come to think of it. :concern:
