I never saw the Christmas episode of Shining Time Station until tonight. It's so sweet, about giving people a chance, even when it's difficult.

Hehe, I love the way you abbreviate things, Kiki.

I also just watched A Charlie Brown Christmas. I've been feeling a bit down lately. But then I saw good old CB wishing he wasn't so depressed during Christmas. Somehow that made me feel better.

I watched Charlie Brown last night too. I also had been feeling down but good old Charlie made it all better. I also watched Garfield then as I had been talking about yesterday. I just love how Jon and Doc Boy wake their dad up at 1:00 in the morning and they're like "It technically is Christmas you know" So funny! And the relationship between Garfield and the grandma is so cute. Warm fuzzies!

I found all these old Christmas commericals on retrojunk.com. I love watching old commericals; they take to back to your childhood, they promote warm and fuzzy feelings (of course, that's what a commerical is trying to do!)

I realized I had at least 25 commericals downloaded, so I made up a sort of Advent calender, where every night I'd watch a different one. It's been a love of fun.

Guys, the quilt's arrived safely at the AIDS quilt headquarters. We've been tracking the package through UPS's site (the wonders of modern technology), and it got delivered around noon yesterday.

Around here, we've been baking stuff, wrapping presents and listening to seasonal music, things like that. We're going to a big sing-along of the Messiah on Saturday (we've done it for the last couple of years), and at church we're angsting over who's going to do what for the vigil Mass. So, business as usual.

Awesome, MN! UPS is usually pretty reliable. Have you ever gone to a midnight Mass? We did once, it was difficult heh, and sort of surreal. Like we couldn't believe we were actually up that late! But it was still nice.
