Yeah I know what you mean, MN, I've actually wondered about how he went about it too.

Fragglemuppet, I remember reading part of Of Muppets and Men, Harry Belafonte was supposed to be having an argument with one of the Muppets in his episode, but it was dropped because Jim said the characters could never really get THAT angry.

Just my opinion, but I think that's why I don't enjoy some of the new Muppet stuff, the characters are occasionally too rude and mean spirited. Someone thinks that "adult humor", but it isn't.

***Btw, you can hear Richard's laughing on some of the Steve Martin clips (nearly all of them actually) on the Muppet Musique site. Yay!***

That's so cool! I actually love hearing Richard's laugh cause it's so load and happy, and he sounded so full of youth at the time.. remember the Peter Ustinoph (spelling??) ep? Richard's laugh was soo noticable in that! Btw, today it's back to school for me!! But so far it has been pretty fun.

Glad school hasn't been bad, hang in there!

Yeah, amazing that he just didn't care, he just let it out! Though in this case, it sounds like he's raising the volume to encourage others to do so. I did that in a play once lol.

Yeah, I heard him the Peter Ustinov episode. You can see Peter quickly acknowledge him off screen. Well, Peter was very amusing. Odd, he didn't seem as well known in the U.S.

School was fun, really! Yeah, that's right Heralde. You could actually *see* Peter acknowledge Richard off screen! Peter sorta points to him and smiles. Have you seen the Valerie harper episode? During the Swedish Chef sketch you could hear A LOT of laughter! Most definatly Richard's I'm guessing! lol, I love what you said 'bout the whole play thing. Sorta the same thing happened with me. Last year they were showing this senior musical at assembely and one of the characters said something rully random. I mean it wasn't even funny. You wern't mean't to laugh (hope I didn't hurt their feelings!!). It was just the expression on her face and her voice went all weird at one stage. Sooo basically I was the only one spluttering with laughter there at assembely and cause my laugh is so loud and weird everyone started laughing as well, lol!

Btw, nice to see ya back, Ilikemuppets! Now I wonder where Meeps has got to...

No, the vain materialistic Valley Girl persona would have been all wrong for the Electric Mayhem's own guitar-swinging sister. She's too cool for that.

I can sometimes envision Richard sitting alone in the workshop late at night, staring intently at the Janice puppet, and thinking, "All right, Janice, talk to me, sweetie. Tell me who you are. Where you're from." Trying to "channel" her character or something like that.
lol! I can sooo picture that!

Wow, that's fantastic! I don't know the show, but it sounds like it was a great opportunity. You must have felt really good to get a reaction. What did you do?

And yeah, I often end up laughing at things that aren't "meant" to be funny lol.

And I've heard that about the Valerie Harper episode, but it's been awhile since I've seen it!

"Scorenessosity..." Hehe, I like that thanks!
