Gee, thanks Heralde. I know what you mean, and me being a foodie ( ) it's hard. I was just getting a glass of milk and my mum's like "You can't have that! Milk'll make you flemmy!" So I haveta avoid milk. I have a lemon and honey tea every day so that's alright but no milky tea's or coffee's or... (*gulp*) hot choccies!

I remember when I was little, I had a small virus. I was in bed watching TV and a Milk commerical came on. It looked so good, but I couldn't have any! I started moaning, it was horrible! lol

Lol! A simelar thing happened to me!
During the time of Lent, my Granny -who's dead religous, not that there's anything wrong with that- said I should give something up, like how Jebus gave himself up for us, orrrrr... something like that. I wasn't sure what I could give up. Then I thought, Aha! Choccie! (It was a crazy, ludicrous idea. I didn't know what I was on). I gave it up, then there was one day left 'till I could have it! Then this ad came on for this new choccie thing. I nearly died. I looked in the cupboard, and there was a packet of smarties. And I ate them all. :embarrassed: I was v.v. bad. I hadta put another day on, lol!

I tried giving up soda for Lent once, because I drank it WAY too much. But right around that time I got a cold and put that idea to the side. I decided to exercise and take the stairs instead of elevators! Though, for next Lent I probably should think of something to DO instead of NOT doing.

Well, wait, smarties aren't chocolate. At least not the ones I've had.

Lol, good thought, heralde!

Smarties are chocolate, arn't they? They're the lil' round choccie things with colourful shells. maybe you were thinking of skittles or something.

Actually, I was just going to ask about that! Here in America, the things called Smarties are little sugar candies that come in a roll. Occasionally, someone will go on vacation somewhere tropical, and bring back the ones you are talking about. They're both pretty good, but the chocolate ones are to die for!

Ho hum.
Hey guys, how come Ilikemuppets and MeepBorkMeep havn't been posting in the RHLC thread lately? I'm beginning to miss them. :frown:

I don't mind staying home, really. I don't like being sick though. I'm just posting this and listening to Jet v.v. loudly! :sing: Gotta love Jet.

Yes, I was just thinking the same thing. Another person, who actually has been absent longer, is Caroline. Oh well, I'm sure one of them will be along presently.
Thanks Heralde, for posting the link to that video. Before that, I was just going to comment on how no one had mentioned Richard's name in pages!

Yeah, those are the Smarties I was thinking of, Fragglemuppet! Ah, cultural differences!

Well you know, we spent SO MUCH time talking about Richard. That kind of dedication is hard to maintain all the time, we need to re-fuel, you know? lol Also, school has started, I think people are busier.

It's still a thread about him.

Yeah, I know what you mean Fragglemuppet, I havn't heard Richard's (oh my, i said his name!) name in ages! And this is supposed to be the Richard Hunt Lover's Club, HA! Probely my fault, lol, I alway muffin threads, y'know, always drifting away from the subject. But as someone else on this thread had said (forget who) the RHLC isn't just 'bout Richard, it's also a place to just hang and talk about how life's treating ya.
