Sorry this isn't an update yet. I don't get online very often lately but I haven't forgotten my story. I promise to post a new chapter very soon though.

Ok! Marty! I will wait to read what happend next to the Agent Laser!

chapter 9

Agent Laser came straight to the point. "Okay this is where we need to begin our investigation. I shall need to help you infiltrate the mafia and spy out any information they may be hiding about the case."
Marty added, "Perhaps we could offer bail for Bill in our custody too. If he's staying with one of us at our headquarters it may entice our enemies to try something else to incriminate him further."
"That does sound like a good suggestion. We must come up with the perfect plan to spy on the mob at the same time so we might hear them talking about the situation." Laser agreed and said she and Pork would talk about this further at their headquarters, so after sharing a few drinks and light snack to appear inconspicous they departed to make their way to the Detectives offices. Laser said Agent Pork would meet them there. She was still hiding in the shadows watching out for trouble.
Suddenly as they were turning a corner they heard scuffling and a high-pitched squeal coming from the alley.
What was happening? Was Agent Pork fighting with a gangster?

chapter 10

Agent Laser ran into the alley to assist Agent Pork. Between them they subdued their target and dragged her struggling and pleading into the Detectives view. They all had quite a shock when they saw who it was. Especially Marty. "Wait!" he cried. "That's a friend of mine!" It was Sarge.
The two Agents were dumbfounded. "I noticed her eavesdropping on your table nearby in the bar with these dark sunglasses to conceal her face." Agent Pork explained. When she slipped outside into the shadows I trailed her thinking she was an enemy spy."

Marty took the poor distraught girl affectionately into his arms though he did speak with a little bit of mild annoyance. "Oh dear Sargey. What on earth were you doing?"
She looked up into his face with sobs coming from her. "I just wanted to see what leads you came up with and check them out for myself Marty. I wanted to help you because you're such a good friend and I know you admire Bill so much."
"But you could have gotten hurt bad. You're so very lucky these ladies were rather gentle with you compared to what they could have been. Why didn't you ask me if you could help us with our case?"
Sarge sniffled. "I'm sorry Marty. I thought you might tell me I should not get involved with the investigation. I wanted to make my own mark as a detective and make you especially proud of me too."
"Oh Sargey. You were so silly, but you're sweet." Marty took a handkerchief and wiped her eyes and let her blow her nose. "You can help us if you want but from now on no secrets or needless risks. Is that okay with everybody else?"
Snowthy and Kendra smiled and said they didn't mind. Laser and Pork were a little taken aback. But if Marty could guarantee Sarge's proper co-operation they were willing to work with her also. Sarge was so happy she leaped up into Marty's arms. Marty grunted as he supported her. This was going to be quite a case indeed now.

That's cool! I can't wait to find out what happend of Agent Laser and Agent Pork next!

I was just thinking I'll have to start putting some more muppet characters into this story shortly, won't I?

I'm sorry I haven't updated in a long time. Things are happening in my life that I'm trying to sort out and plus my computer's been having some problems as well. But I'll try to at least come up with some further ideas soon.
