CHAPTER 13
While Marty was on his way back to the agency office something else was happening in a secret location on the other side of the city.
Three gangsters were speaking to their boss in front of his big desk. The boss was wearing a mask that completely covered his face with only his eyes, nose and ears showing. They were all discussing the progress the Detectives and their friends were making.
"Boss. Bad news." said the tellest of them. "Our spies tell us those detectives have freed Bill on bail and have learned about Bunsen and Beaker."
The Boss was running his fingers through a pile of raisins on his desk. "Well then you know what must be done. Make it look like an accident."
"Yes Boss." All three gangsters spoke at the same time, bowed slightly and turned to head out the door as more raisins suddenly dropped onto the desk for the Boss to scoop together and play with in his hands.
