This is all a proposed idea; but what do we know about the greatest theatre of all time? Well:
The design or layout probably looks like this. I admit, the "gray" area (the Lobby) is a gray area, in that we don't really know what it looks like, although it most likely would have existed.
The theatre had full and part time paid positions.
While we can be pretty sure that the theatre was not in the middle of nowhere, we're not entirely certain about it's exact location.
Originally, the theatre was owned by Scooter's Uncle J.P. Gross, but we learn in IAVMMC that the Muppets inherit the theatre from him.
The theatre was originally called the "Benny VanDerGast Memorial Theatre."

Your thoughts and input now, please.
My favourite part is the floor plan of the theatre.I've often wondered what was beyond the stage and backstage, not to mention how :boo: & entered and exited their theatre box.

I like in the upstairs dressing room hall, where there's usually a Muppet or two watching silently from above at the antics Kermit and the other Muppets are doing downstairs. And sometimes that Muppet who's watching from above will later turn around and knock on a dressing room door. Then we shift to the guest star in their room and that same Muppet who just knocked will come in.

That happened in the Crystal Gayle episode. Beauregard was silently watching some prairie dogs stealing stuff from Kermit. And then Beau turned around and knocked on Crystal's door wanting to get her autograph.

Also in the Shields and Yarnell episode. Gonzo was upstairs watching the Muppets doing some stuff. Then he goes into S and Y's dressing room to have a talk with them.

Acording to "The Muppet Comic Book" there are holding pens for the monsters in the basement below the stage.
Sorry to bump this old thread, but in reference to muppet_dk's post, you can see what he's talking about in my Muppet Online Book thread and reading the story "Bo Saves The Day".

Check it out!

I was trying to remember some stuff that had been posted here (and in other threads that it links to) and I was having some difficulty finding it, so I thought it could use a little *bump* so others can find it as well. Since I haven't said so yet, thank you much to Vic Romano for putting all this information together!
