The Muppet Christmas Festival

Chapter 17

Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Rowlf, Gonzo, Rizzo, Seymour, Pepe, Johnny Fiama, Sal, and Bobo all went to the festival locaion early in the morning.

"Moi likes how we chose to have a christmas festival at a place that used to be a shopping mall", said Miss Piggy, "But doesn't like the fact that a mall was torn down".

"We didn't choose to have this festival at a mall", said Kermit, "The government did".

"Well, I'll act as security", said Bobo.

"Right", said Kermit, "Just make sure tht ony muppets come here".

"Don't even let Barney in, okay?", said Pepe.

"Okay", said Bobo.

"Well, I'm going to check out this place", said Seymour.

"Me, too", said Rowlf.

Meanwhile, the Sesame Street cast was at a bus stop, waiting for a ride to the festival. Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Herry Monster, Bert, Ernie, Biff, Sully, Roxy Marie, Mr. Snuffleupagus, Alice Snuffleupagus, Telly Monster, Baby Bear, Papa Bear, Mama Bear, Curly Bear, Goldilocks, Elmo, Zoe, Rosevelt Franklin, Rosevelt Franklins mother, Little Jerry and The Monotones, The Count, Countess Dahling Von Dahling, Countess von Backwards, Sherlock Hemlock, and the Honkers were all there.

"Wait a minute", thought Telly, "What are you all doing here? I thought you were a jewish family."

"Yeah, well, all of the muppets are invited, so why not?", asked Baby Bear.

"Well, Bert, her'es your present", said Ernie, "Merry christmas, Bert".

"Oh, thank you, Ernie", said Bert, who opened his present, "Wow! It's a fraggle pebble!"

Fat Blue, Simon Soundman, and Proffessor Hastings all came by.

"Hey, you two look familiar", said Fat Blue.

"So do you two", said Simon Soundman.

"And so do you two", said Proffessor Hastings.

Bruno had arrived, with Oscar in his trash can.

"I don't know why I'm coming to this festival", moaned Oscar, "I hate christmas!"

"Well, maybe the place will be trashed", said Sherlock hemlock.

"By the way, Ernie", said Bert, "here's your present".

Bert gave Ernie the fraggle pebble.

"Oh, wow", said Ernie, "It' s the gift that keeps on giving! Here, Herry".

The bus showed up. The driver was Grover.

"Hurry up, everybody!", said Grover, "This is the bus to the muppets christmas festival!"

"Oh, no, it's you agai!", cried Fat Blue.

I would like to mention that for the festival, you can imagine ther being any muppet whose not mentioned there that you want, but I wouldn't picture the following being there:

*The talking houses

*the humongus chicken (from Elmo in Grouchland)

*any international Sesame Street characters

*anybody from The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss

*Any creature shop characters

*Mt. Rushmore

*anybody from The Christmas Toy or The Secret Life of Toys (we wouldn't want them to be frozen forever, would we?)

Wow, when I saw that this story was updated, I was so excited! It's been a long week, you know!
*wink* Anyway, this was great, as always! Only one suggestion. You are probably aware of this already, but there are a lot of the Sesame Street characters you left out. Maybe it would be easier if you didn't try to name them, because there are so many, that one can not possibly remember all of t hem. Just a suggestion.

Well, not all of the Sesame Street characters travel to the festival together. Some travel in different ways. Some take different buses. It'll be awhile before Grover get's to enjoy the party

I have also been really busy with work and other things this week, and I've been working on the Muppet Wiki site. Also, I had to go two or three nights in a row this week with only five and a half hours of sleep.

I added info on many of the Muppet Show and Sesame Street sketches there, including guides to many of those sketches (of course, the order for the Sesame Street sketch guides is just my guess, and the actual titles for many of the individual sketches are also guesses), info on Bruno the Trash man, Lips, The Jim Henson Muppet, The Frank Oz Muppet, The Jerry Nelson Muppet, Jim Henson: The Works, info on the Sesame Street Unpaved book, info on many action figures, info on some episodes of Sesame Street and The Muppet Show, sections for many albums (including Muppet Hits, Muppet Hits Take 2, The Muppet Music Album, The Muppet Music Hall, The Muppet Show 25th Anniversary Collection, Jim Henson: a Sesame Street Celebration, Songs from The Street and The best of The Muppets), a few Sesame Street videos (including Rock & Roll, Count it Higher: Great Music Videos from Sesame Street, and What's the Name of That Song?) and a lot more.

Chapter 18

The festival was getting ready.

"Okay, Bobo, you check everybody in", said Kermit, "And Sweetums, you stand by the Fraggle hole over there and greet the fraggles".

"Right!", said Sweetums.

"I'll start playing some music", said Rowlf.

"Okay", said Kermit, "And Pepe, you, Seymour, Gladys and The Swedish Chef start cooking. Yves St. La Roach and Grover will be here later toi help with the cooking and serving".

"Okay, okay!", said Pepe.

"We're all going to have a good time", said Miss Piggy.

"Yes, we are", said Kermit.

Bobo was awaiting the muppets who were coming.

"Hello, Bobo", said Pops.

"We're here for the party", said Sam the Eagle.

"This will be a big celebration", said Nigel the Conductor.

"I can't wait", said Mildred.

They all got in. Then Statler and Waldorf came in.

"Do you think this festival will be worth our time?", asked Waldorf.

"Well, it's either this festival or visiting mu ugly aunt for christmas", said Statler.

They both moaned at the thought of this.

Guy Smiley then came in via limo.

"I am everybodys favorite game show host, Guy Smiley!", shouted Guy Smiley.

"And I am everybodys favorite bear, Bobo", said Bobo.

"I thought I was everybody's favorite bear", said Fozzie, who suddenly showed up behind Bobo.

"And I thought I was", said Bear, who then showed up.

Down in Fraggle Rock, the fraggles were getting ready. The gorgs were fraggle sized. The doozers made a special pull wageon for Marjourie the Trash Heap.

"We are so glad that you can come with us, marjourie", said Philo.

"Now it will be a real party", said Gunge.

"Well, I hope they have plenty to eat", said Marjourie.

"Well, us doozers are bringing plenty of doozer sticks", said a Doozer.

Down in the great hall....

"Okay, we'll follow this map, which will lead us to the festivals location", said Gobo.

"I am so excited", said Red.

"me, too", said Mokey.

"This will be some party", said Marlon.

"I know, I know", said Morris.

"Well, let's all begin our trip to the christmas festival", said Cantus.

"Oh, boy!", said Junior Gorg.

Chapter 19

Bunsen and Beaker were in charge of tasting the punch bowl.

"All right, Beaker", said Bunsen, "You taste the punch".

Beaker drank a bit of punch, but it caused his head to inflate.

"Oh, well", said Bunsen, "We'll have to find a bicycle pump again".

Fozzie was working on some jokes for his monologue.

"What's black and white and red all over?", asked Fozzie.

"A bloody skunk, okay", said Pepe.

Rizzo went to check on Bobo.

"Now, you're only letting in muppets, right?", asked Rizzo.

"Of course", said Bobo, "There was a trolly who tried to get in here, but since it wasn't a muppet, I made it leave".

"That's good, Bobo", said Rizzo, who then left.

"This will be a cute party", said Bean Bunny, who was entering.

"Welcome to the muppet christmas festival", said Bobo.

"Well, then, merry christmas to you", said Zippety Zap.

"Why, thank you", said Bobo.

"My fish will like this party", said Lew Zeland.

"So will my dynamite", said Crazy Harry.

The fraggles had all found the hole that leads to the festival.

"We made it!", said Gobo.

"Oh, goody", said Wembly.

"Let's all have the time of our lives", said Large Marvin.

"Welcome to The Muppet Christmas festival!", said Sweetums.

"Hmm", thought Pa Gorg, "Maybe we should be as big as him, instead of as small as the fraggles".

Pa, Ma, and Junior Gorg all then made themselves as big as sweetums.

"That's more like it", said Ma Gorg.

"Definately", said Junior Gorg.

Chapter 20

Bobo was watching various muppets walk past him into the festival.

"Have a good day, everybody", said Bobo, "And merry christmas".

"I brought plenty of Wilkin's Coffee", said Wilkins.

"Oh, brother", moaned Wontkins, "Product placement. I bet this festival will bomb!"

"Did somebody say 'Bomb'?", asked Crazy Harry, who suddenly appeared.

"He did", said Wilkins.

Crazy Harry blew up Wontkins.

"Strange things happen to those who don't drink Wilkins Coffee", said Wilkins.

King ploobis, Queen Peuta, Wisss and Vash were all behind them.

"This party will be a great social event", said Queen Peuta.

"I just hope that there's plenty of, uh, party supplies", said Wisss.

"I hope that Scred doesn't destroy The Mighty Fuvog", said King Ploobis, "Scred's not strong enough to carry him here by himself, vut I wanted to get here before he did".

Sam the Robot was behind them.

"I am SAM", said Sam the Robot, "I am here to decorate the place", and then he wrapped decorations on the various muppets in line in front of him and in back of him.

"Give me some slack for disliking Wilkins Coffee", yelled Wontkins.

"Oh, my new dress!", moaned Queen Peuta.

"My Crater!", yelled Wisss.

"Merry Christmas... Christmas... christmas... christmas...", said Sam the Robot, who kept repeating what he was saying.

But, didn't you send Seymour off to a condo in Florida? Or is that from some other story...
