Ann: What was Daddy saying to us when we left?
Tabby: I dunno. It sounded like, "Have a good time, and go through bars, to be."
Kelly: ...Um... To be what?
Tabby: ...I dunno. Daddy's funny like that, sometimes.
Ann: Well, not usually.
Tabby: Well I said "sometimes."
Ann: You said sometimes what?
Tabby: Sometimes Daddy's funny like that.
Ann: But he isn't usually!
Tabby: That's why I said-
Kelly: How do you go through bars?
Tabby: ...Really fast?
Ann: It probably depends what kind of bar.
Tabby: Of course it does. You have to go faster for some bars than you do for others. I mean, monkey bars are almost impossible to go through, but candy bars are a lot easier. All you need for those is a good set of teeth.
Ann: Yeah. I bet cage bars are hard to get through, they look kind of like monkey bars turned on their sides.
Kelly: ...I wonder what kind of bars Daddy meant?
Tabby: Maybe he meant THAT kind of bars! <points at fence>
Ann: I dunno, those bars have a sign on them.
Kelly: What's it say?
Ann: I don't know, I can't read yet. None of us can.
Tabby: I bet it says something exciting!
Ann: I bet it's some kind of warning. Like, "Don't even try it, you'll be torn to shreds."
Tabby: Sounds more like a dare to me! <tries climbing through fence>
Ann: Tabby, what are you doing?
Tabby: Going through bars, of course! Why, what are you doing?
Ann: Telling you not to!
Tabby: Oh Ann, come on, live a little!
Ann: But Tabby-
Tabby: <jumps between bars> Come on! See? It's easy!
Kelly: <giggling>
Ann: What's so funny?
Kelly: I think I know what that sign says... <giggles>
Tabby: Really? What's it say?
Kelly: <points at Tabby's fur> WET PAINT! <laughs>
Tabby: <looks at self> Haha, look at that! I've got blue bars on my sides! Cool!
Ann: <inspecting Tabby> It looks sticky, icky, and messy.
Tabby: It looks like it would look good on you. And you're next!
Ann: WHAT?
Tabby: <pulls Ann through bars>
Kelly: <laughs and follows sisters>
