"The Moppet Family - Same Family, New Thread..."

Father: Remember that tree you used to have in your garden? It drooped over the fence to ours. I used to pick apples from it and imagine that you had handed them to me...though they were usually full of worms and made me sick the following night...it was kinda romantic...

Nicky: How old were you then?

Mother: This is very intresting, but you can't tell my brother. He's slightly overprotective and then there's this other guy intrested in me...

Nicky: Uh...any ideas?

Father: How old? Anything from 4-24...I was hopelessly in love with you at the time...so, any time before I was 24...

Nicky: How sweet, but does that mean you're not in love with her now? *impish smile*

Mother: What are you two babbling on about?

Nicky: She's back. *touches Mother's forehead with her hand* And burning up!

Hmmm... Sometimes I get the feeling that this thing called the Moppet Family gets speedily out of control.

I mean... There are the times DanDan and Vibs go off at a lightning pace, bringing in all the random unnamed whoevers as their craziness reigns. And then there are times like now when Bo and Christy secretly scheme at plot twists that take up a good morning to catch up on. Oh sure, I've still got a bit of resentment towards Bo for his recent encroachments into my little realm... Should've consulted it first... And I guess that speaks to the lightning pace at which him and that sister of mine just bring up new scenes like the one playing out now.

Would like to have a more integrated involvement in the plotting and planning is all. Oh well, she'll call, or Nicki will if there's any problems. Used to be a feared admiral of the Atlantic just as she was back in the day.
*Moves back indoors, the girls are at school and a substitute's covering for me, have to tend to Izzy and Grandma K who aren't feeling well.
Maybe that's another problem... Seems as if the rest of my own family just doesn't have enough time to come in and make any appearances lately. *Muttering to self while working in the kitchen.

Oh, I'm here dear! Is there anything I can help you with in the kitchen? Seems to me it's tough to keep up with things to sometimes, I don't know whether I'm coming or going! Oh well, my mother is resting, she's still not feeling real great so I thought I'd take some tea up to her. Let me know if you need anything from me!

That sounds nice. Anywhere or anything special she wants? I'll probably be at the office for the afternoon, but will come back in time for dinner with the rest of the family.
