"The Moppet Family - Same Family, New Thread..."

[Beauregard]

Father: *downstairs* ... *opens newspaper* Wilson's Inc Shut Down...what an unusal headline, no attempt at alliteration or clever punnage...*reads on through article* Wilson's Inc has been shut down after a partner declaired bankrupcy and sold all rights to the company, it's inventions, and it's employees to a man known as, "The Shadow." That is all...*pauses reading* I don't think much of the writing style at all here...it's hardly perusable...*returns* *wait* Wait! What?

Mother: *hears Father downstairs* What on earth could that man be carrying on about?

Nicky: Grim...Grimm...Mother Goose....Grimbog....Grimbulg...

Mother: *calls to Father* Could you bring me up some aspirin before you go to work?

Nicky: Grimblige! Here it is!

 

[Beauregard]

Father: *answers mobile* Oh hello dear, you could have just called...oh you did. Yeah, I'll send one up. Need anything to drink with that?

 

[christyb]

Mother: Water please. Just bring it up yourself. Thanks *hangs up cell*

Nicky: You could have just yelled to him.

Mother: Oh yeah, right. Anyways, what about Grimblige...and why can't we well join together again. No offense but being split in half isn't fun.

Nicky: Tell me about it. *starts reading*

 

[Beauregard]

Father: *carries water and asprin upstairs to bedroom* I suppose it would be rude of me to point out that Nicky's sat on that chest over there reading a book? *nervious smile* Hi Nicky. Long time no...er...sea for you to sail on, so why are you here?

Mother: I know Nicky's over there. We're trying to figure out why she can't go back inside me.

Nicky: And be us you know? She being Christy over there forgets that I exist at time too and has a splitting headache.

Mother: So we're trying to figure out what's wrong...besides the fact that you should be at work.

 

[Beauregard]

Father: Did I mention that there's been a hostile take-over at work? Plus Mr Harvey is still off on vacation to Greenland (to buy ice for our water-cooler) and Iceland (to buy some grass for the back yard). Even the loverly Suzan is absent...I'm rather worried about the place...Can I help with anything Nicky?

Nicky: Yeah you could find Moppet or someone semi-capable of anything in there.

Mother: *takes aspirin* *looks back at Father* Beau? What are you doing in my house?

Nicky: Not again! *groans*

 

[Beauregard]

Father: Nicky, I promised about Moppet a long time ago...I don't break promises...Oh, by the way, I'm thinking about getting another job and just not telling Wilson's. perhaps they'll keep me on he payroll. - *to Mother* Check the papers, the house came in the family...

Mother: *looks blankly* No you live next door silly. Don't you remember?

Nicky: Ummm....promise or no...did you ever live next door to me..er...her I mean seeing as we're two seperate people now. *furiously begins reading*
