Oh man, I guess you can call me a "clud" fer sure. I'm not lucky in love, at all!
I'm not exactly what you call a boy-crazy teenager, I mean I had crushes but I'm not one to put pictures of them up in my locker and think about them every day.
I've never really had dates before, even though a lot of my friends are guys. My middle school grad date was my best friend, but he has another love interest (I did have a wicked time though).

There's this really cute boy I met during curling last year, and we shared a lot of the same interests. I started to get a huge crush on him, but it was hard to tell him as he lives on the other side of town and goes to a different school, so we only saw eachother once a week. We talked on MSN a lot though. Whenever we made plans they fell through, but I couldn't really help it because my grandfather was in the hospital and was really sick. The day I decide to tell him that I like him, he comes up to me..
"I have a girlfriend!"
Ouch.
Their relationship didn't last long though. Well, curling ended for the season, and although we still talked a lot I guess my crush faded away. I didn't go back to curling this season because I didn't feel up to it, as it was my grandfather's favourite thing to do, and with him passing away this year I thought it would bring back too much sad memories.
Fast forward to September of this year.. My friends plan to go out to supper with me, and I agree. They say they're bringing a special guest. Anyways, I get there.. and BAM. Cute Curling Boy is the special guest. Turns out, my friend Rosie now goes to the school that he goes too, and they're in a lot of classes. Needless to say I was thrilled.. we talked a lot and I had a super fun time.
Now the crush is coming back. Hopefully he'll have the same feelings too, but knowing my luck it probably won't happen. I won't be too worried though. I'm going to stay optimistic! Knowing that we're friends makes me happy.

Yay, stay optimistic, Faylo! That's all you can do. I always tell my friends that if someone doesn't want to be dating them, that this person doesn't know what they are missing. I'll say the same to you.

Now I feel bad though. I'm taken. No more cluds here!

Well, I can't say I'm in the same boat as you all. I've been happily taken by a very beautiful woman for over a year and a half (though we've been best friends for 3). I can be a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen to you though. I'm sorry, Prawnie, that it didn't work out with that girl, but there will be others and maybe even her later on. Who knows? I think that's just cracky* that she passed you up. You're a great guy and I'm sure anyone would be lucky to have you. Ahh...young love...
