I mean even with the toaster oven you can still get a hunch from the texture of the meat they were put in the microwave beforehand to soften it up.

Anytime I take a bite of their chicken, it tastes very, very rubbery and chewy. That’s a good indicator right there.

For the whole time I worked at Subway, I never had a chicken sandwich. No Teriyaki, nothing with chicken. Turkey and meatballs, yes.

Same here. Never had anything chicken related from Subway. Everything was usually red meat. Not because I heard the rumors about their chicken but rather I wasn't interested in it.

One of my go to sandwiches was teriyaki chicken with American cheese and chipotle sauce on flat bread.

Was a decent sandwich before I noticed how chewy the chicken was. :smirk:

Again, I was just never enthralled with Subway and their hard breads, slimey meats, soggy veggies and toppings, and smelly sauces and condiments. 🙅‍♂️

Part of the chewiness of the chicken can be due to the preservatives, and the chicken is cooked all the way through.

On another note, just as a bucket list try, I’ve actually been in the mood to try a Big Mac from McDonald’s.

I never got the burgers from McDonald’s as they never came off as appetizing to me, but it is something I’d like to try once now.

Big Macs are okay. It's one of the things I remember eating back in high school and enjoying. Of course my palette has changed since then, but by all means go ahead and try it if you want to! You might like it.

Of course I'm a Five Guys stan, but that's another story...
