By the way I have to admit, the cheesy Gordita crunch has to be my favorite food item from Taco Bell! I mean...... just that flatbread, beef and cheese! I might actually try one without lettuce at some point:

Taco Bell really has a tendancy to overdo it with the lettuce at times. Much like McDonald's does with ketchup.

They really do. I always try and get a good balance of meat when taking a bite.

So honest question, but am I the only one who despises watermelon? Actual watermelon, or artificial watermelon flavor? Watermelon itself is really popular in the summertime down here, some people will eat huge wedges of it, and spit the seeds out like spitballs, but I've just never cared for the taste of it.
I used to not be a fan of it, but it became more tolerable with age. That said, it’s not my favorite fruit to eat either.

I’ll eat watermelon but I won’t spit the seeds. I prefer seedless. If it’s on sale, I’ll get a wedge, not a whole one.
Two things people used to do. Get a whole melon, cut a whole in the top, pour in a fifth of vodka, let it soak in overnight, then you have the makings for a party.

Another thing the old folks used to do was put salt on watermelon to bring out the flavor. This isn’t too far fetched. Certain fruits you can do this with, like bananas. Not for me, but to each his own.

But the one thing about watermelon, it has to be served cold. And even though they grow it up here, watermelon is mostly grown down South because the soil needs a certain amount of sand and moisture to grow. Same with pumpkins. Bet you didn’t know that.
