So I gotta be honest when it comes to burgers, while I definitely prefer having lettuce, bacon, jalapeños and any kind of sauce that isn’t ketchup or mustard on it when it comes to toppings, when I get a cheeseburger as a sub sandwich, I actually prefer just eating it plain.

Also when it comes to five guys, I actually prefer eating them plain. I want to appreciate that peanut oil flavor they have.

We used to have a really great local burger joint here, and I would always order my burgers completely plain before adding just a little squirt of ketchup and a bunch of pickles on them. That was it, but man, they were the best burgers ever.

What ever happened to that burger joint? Got taken down due to rent increase?

Nah, it just went out of business almost fifteen years ago.

I think I mentioned it before, but it was a burger joint/ice cream parlor - their Superman ice cream was a best seller, but in their final years, their ice cream got really gritty, so I stopped getting it . . . but their burgers were always great.

Speaking of burgers, anybody ever had Fuddrucker’s?
Unusual name for a burger joint, but their burgers are every bit as good as Five Guys, Smashburger, or any other high end joint.
Their smallest burger makes a Big Mac look like a slider.

I’ve heard of it, but I don’t think any exist down here in New England.

I'm familiar with Smashburger. Passed by them but never had their food.
