PRAWNIE: Well, that’s it for the Fan-Fic awards… hold on… I think we forgot someone. Wait… did we? Maybe. I don’t really know… Huh. Hold on… I know who can answer this. WEMBLEY!

(WEMBLEY runs out onstage) (Applause)


WEMBLEY: (pants) Yes, Ryan?

PRAWNIE: Did we forget to let you present?

WEMBLEY: Uhhh… I don’t know. Wait… yes you did. I think. Maybe. Umm… no you didn’t! I did it earlier and—wait… no I didn’t. Uhh…

PRAWNIE: …I’ll take that as a yes. Wembley, ladies and germs! (moves off stage)

WEMBLEY: Oh boy, oh boy! They’re letting me present the “Wemblin’ Fool” award to the Biggest Wembler here at Muppet Central! Well—besides me, of course. (laughs) Wait… I think that doesn’t include me. …Ohhh boy. Here are the contenders!

PRAWNIE: And now, here’s Scooter!

(SCOOTER scoots onstage) (Applause)

SCOOTER: Hi there folks! You know what I could go-fer? This next award! (laughs at joke) Get it? …Guess not. Well, I’m presenting the last of the Muppet Appreciation awards for tonight, and I thought I’d do it in style! So, to help me out, here are the All-Singing, Some-Dancing, No-Drowning Riverdance Rats!

(RIZZO runs out onstage)

RIZZO: Uh, yeah, just one problem d’ere, Scooter… da Riverdance Rats got… uh, run ovah. By a rivah boat.

SCOOTER: (gulp) Well what are we supposed to do now?

RIZZO: (shrug) Beats me. Improvise, kid! (runs off)

SCOOTER: Erm… well… Haha… Uhh… the Riverdance Rats were going to tap the contenders in Morse code… but I guess I’ll just have to tell you them. Here are the contenders for “Keepin’ the Flames Alive,” the award for the Most Dedicated Muppet Fan…

Red: You don't holler when I show up?

Me: Um ...

Piggy: What is it with vous and psychotic characters?

Me: You mean like y--.

Piggy: Finish that sentence and get smacked into next week, pal.

Me: Hey, lighten up, you want yet another wedding with Kermie, right?

Piggy: ...

Red: Oh, come on, Piggy! You get more weddings than I get birthdays!

Me: Wait, who was I cheering for again?

Red (ignores Me): So, Piggy, you want to go pick out costumes? I make really GREAT ones!

Piggy: I prefer designer fashions, you little gerbil.

Red: I am NOT a gerbil! I am NOT a hamster, I am NOT a rat ....

Rizzo: Hey, watch da rat cracks.

Philo and Gunge: Yeah....

 

[Beauregard]

Bo: I'm beginning to feel bad for that kid...
Beau: Why, because he's had to present himself awards?
Bo: No...because the weight of them will take out the bottom of his car and he'll be walking home...Mwahahahaha...

 

[TogetherAgain]

Oh, again? <zips back down> Poor rope, all abandoned up there... Anyway! I'm really honored, to get this--I, I mean I THINK I'm--Yeah, I... Yes. I'm really honored to get this, and I just wanna thank--Should I say the whole list again? Or should I just--Oh, nevermind. MAZEL TOV, PRAWNIE! <zips back up to seat>

Agree... Erm... *Applauding for Dr. Prawnidew.

.PRAWNIE: (shrug) Well… I can safely say that that’s the last award I’ll be winning tonight. Thank you all… again. I love you guys! But, enough about me, let’s move on to the final award of the night. Kermit?

(KERMIT comes onstage) (Massive applause)

KERMIT: Hi-ho, everyone! Hi there, Ryan.

PRAWNIE: Good to see you again, Kerm. Are you ready to present this last award?

KERMIT: (nods) My flippers are tired from all of this standing.

PRAWNIE: What do you mean?

KERMIT: Someone took my seat! (scrunches up face)

PRAWNIE: (laughs) It’s okay Kerm… there’ll be plenty of places to sit at the after party. Speaking of which… let’s give out this award so we can get there, whadaya say?

KERMIT: I say… what the hey?

PRAWNIE: Nice. These are the contenders for The Phillip Chapman Muppet Central Lifetime Achievement Award.

KERMIT: Mmhm, first, we have The Count, otherwise known as Eduardo. The Count is the newest Muppet Central moderator and just loves fan-fiction. He’s also the Muppet College Dorms land lord and an all-around great guy!

PRAWNIE: Next, Beauregard. Co-founder of MopFam, SWAHEB, and a lot of other things that are just insane, Beau is one of the oldest most prevalent members of MC, sticking around for almost seven years now. I’m proud to call Beau my friend.

KERMIT: And now, theprawncracker. …Wait, that’s you.

PRAWNIE: …Just skip it. WasOnceErnie, Earl, was, actually, once Ernie. He performed Ernie in the group finale of The Muppet Movie.

KERMIT: Fozzie Bear, Kevin, not the comedian, has been a moderator at Muppet Central for as long as anyone can remember. He performs with his puppet, Muley the Mule all around the country and makes a great impression on everyone. He is also bald.

PRAWNIE: And, finally, stephenjilizard, much more commonly known as Steve Swanson, is the host of The MuppetCast. The weekly Muppet Podcast that is celebrating its’ 100th Show as we speak. Steve has interviewed the likes of Dave Goelz, Fran Brill, Jim Lewis, Kevin Clash, and one Mr. Frank Oz.

KERMIT: And the winner of The Phillip Chapman Muppet Central Lifetime Acheivement Award is… Beauregard!

PRAWNIE: My pal! Congratulations, Beau!

KERMIT: Great job! And a great job hosting today, Ryan.

PRAWNIE: Aw, thanks Kerm. Couldn’t have done it without my awards committee. Beauregard, Winslow Leach, The Count, TogetherAgain, Ilikemuppets, redBoobergurl, and dwayne1115. Also without the help of you Muppets and Vic Romano!
