You know, I think this is the first year that Valentine's has really bothered me. It's probably the large amounts of weddings I've been to, plus the lack of any sort of romantic interest in my own life.

*grumbles* I hate that phrase.

What's worse, my dad tried to pay a guy to take me on a date the other day. The guy declined. On one hand, I'm extremely grateful he said no, because it was terribly embarrassing and I'm sure I would not have felt very respectable knowing I was only going out because my date was being paid.

On the other hand.... it's a bit depressing to know I can't even pay a guy to take me out.
