But even the CGI boys are pantless and wear their normal tops, I would think they'd just do the same with the girls and have dresses and eyelashes...
And Disney characters don't need pants so I don't see why fraggles would need them, their bodies are covered with fur in the first place
True, but you know how PC people can get, what with getting upset for the wrong reasons.

Aren't you guys exaggerating a bit?

I mean, I still don't even really understand what it means to be "politically correct" or "politically incorrect", but they're CHIPMUNKS for goodness sake! The Chipettes are girl chipmunks, naturally, they're going to give them femme outfits, but I don't see what the big fuss is about, they're going to look like real chipmunks like the boys do, on the cartoon, The Chipettes may have lacked body fur, but they won't in the sequel.

I just want it done right. I don't want some prissy, soccer mom-esque organization getting its panties in a knot, because of how a fictional character looks. But then, we're dealing with the same types who claimed Harry Potter promoted Satanism or whatever, probably. :frown:

Oh brother.

I don't see the big deal...

I mean look at this...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxVazpJo0XU

Everybody's complaining that The Chipettes look too skanky and $lu++y for girls "their age", but um, those dresses are SUPPOSED to fit the song and the style of the music they're performing in this bit! Get over it people!

Not to mention that the girls often dressed older than they were in the cartoon, anyway.

Those dresses are actually very old fashion
Sheesh, it is like you can't dress in anything fancy without someone saying you're a blank anymore :stick_out_tongue:

You can't hardly do anything anymore without something going wrong. Heck, in one case I read online, some kid got suspended from school...for hugging friends.

What the ****?
Yeah. According to the peice, the stupid school's super-intendant said public displays of affection or whatever disobeyed the handbook, but one wouldn't think that would be applicable to hugging (especially if it's a hug between friends for a sign of goodbye). Sorry, I stand corrected. It was just detention for the student, but even so, this is definate idiocy, with each hug giving extra detentions (and the hugs weren't even full-fledged ones, either).

*Sighs* I keep telling my parents that people don't like to witness "public displays of affection", but do they ever listen to me? Nooooooooooooo!
