You have to admit, French is DEFINITELY Canada's second language. In America: English is our country's first language, then Spanish is our second language, then French is our third language, then Chinese is our fourth language.

Now let me ask this, what kind of weather is Southern Canada experiencing right now? I asked this because I was watching a weather report the other night and amazingly they said New York City hasn't seen a single snowflake this season (they also added NYC hasn't seen winter weather like this in 119 years). So?

Oh boy, 21,000 Canadian celebrities (including Colin Mochrie, Debra McGrath, and Jayne Eastwood) are all on strike right now because people were wanting them to do Internet and cell phone broadcasts for free.

I think it's another CBC strike.

It's Canada's OFFICIAL second language. However, the only officially bilingual PROVINCE is New Brunswick.

I'm pretty sure how it works is:
Quebec's official language is French. All other provinces except for New Brunswick are officially English. NB is officially bilingual.

However the status of the country is officiall bilingual.

It's complicated.

So in other words, English is Quebec's second language instead of it being the other way around?

I LOOOVE the French language--and foods!

Honestly, if it weren't for Canada, we'd never have had SNL. Think about how many of the original cast members (and through the years) were Canadian? Lots.

I've always wondered are most Canadians funny. I hope to get there and find out one day.

YAY all fellow MCers who are Canadians!

Seems like it; they really know what's funny, and how to make something funny ten times funnier! They really have great taste in comedy!
