............ (Please excuse me while I go and find my voice again... it seems to have run off...).....

Ah, found my voice. Now then.

OH MY GOSH GOOD GOUHLY GRACIOUSNESS! Oy! Ed! This is awesome! It just... I mean... help! Oy!!

First off. The visitor. The visitor! Please tell me it was... who I think it was... The fatherly man with the fatherly expression- please tell me that's a hint! And softened brown eyes, and mustache and beard... and he "vanished back into the etherial haze of our long-ago memories." PLEASE tell me that those are the dots I'm supposed to be connecting?!? Oh my gosh! I love it...

And the chapter started with a reference, am I right? To a certain song we know, that I myself have referenced, not too long ago?

And the VOICES! Of our FRIENDS! Oh my... I'm stabbed with each one. Especially one in particular, I think you know which one in particular... That... Oh, that's more than just stabbing, that's twisting the knife! OW! But- and correct me if I'm wrong- but I noticed that I didn't notice the presence of one voice in particular, a voice which two of the voices called for? Maybe I'm reading too much into this. The point is, there's a group of our friends in trouble!

It feels like it's been a long time since I have been stabbed with fear by a piece of writing... on this forum... <glances at someone>... And I'd like to thank you for reminding me what that feels like. I love being stabbed by stories.

Now then.

MORE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit: Renee ziffled me. Just thought I'd share. Anyway. MORE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is what I like... Makes me giggle with a smile, much like most of the good posts in the dorms.

1 Yes Lisa, those are the dots you're supposed to connect... Though you missed one dot, a referencial one in the speech.
2 The opening reference... Well, by accident I'll say yes. Even changed what I was going to originally write, something about how it was the voice the frog taught us.
3 Yes, I know which voice you're talking about calling ut for help.
4 Well... It'll get taken care of as to why his voice didn't call out.
BTW: Just cause lines weren't included in the dialogue/text shouldn't lead you to believe that others weren't calling out. Maybe extra lines dropped from the final version. I'll let you imagine about those deleted scenes since you do them so well.
5 Will get on it.

Oh my goodness; how touchingly appropriate! The radio station I'm listening to is just now playing Lady Jane, by the Roling Stones. Just thaught I'd point that out, considering I also am sure it is Jim. Sarah and Lisa, great minds think alike, eh?
I also figured there were more muppets than those we heard; more fun and challenge that way. Will there be more Sesame Street muppets, and maybe even fraggles? If not, that's alright; classics are good too!

Journal Entry 1.2.

The visitor's words still echoed in our heads, along with cries from all of the Muppets who had sought refuge in our abode the night before. Thoughts of concern and worry crept across our faces in a myriad of miniscule thoughts, slowly connecting the dots. Knowing full well that we'd have to find each and every one of them, we decided to split up in varying directions. The Count would search one section of the castle armed with a wrapped storm cloud. This was his ever-present cloud, ready to strike down any obstacle with its counted lightning. As for me, I headed off in the other direction armed with my trusted bat-blaster.

The Count von Count kept hearing a mournful croaking... His instincts told him that it had to be somewhere out by the swampy pools. He stepped out through the main doors, careful not to tread on any small little spiders loitering on the front porchlike steps. When he neared the swampy pools, the croaking called to him and he knew who it had to be. There's only one Muppet who always has to be first, his name synonomous with our troop of performers seeing as how he started it all so many years ago.

Lilypads dotted the waters of the pool... Though it wasn't really that far from the front righthand edge of the castle's boundary walls. The Count noticed a slight buzzing in the air, not knowing if he should trust its owner. Fortunately, it was only a friendly insect guiding the master to the frog in need of assistance. Horace had a bit of swamp magic of his own, shimmering in the nighttime air above the vampire. The Count counted off one dragonfly, iluminating the sky with his trademark thunderclap. Unfortunately, moss plants kept springing up between the lilypads, blocking any forward progress. These moss plants had developed an alarmlike sense, shooting small spikes at anyone who neared them. With some quick counting, they had been turned into nothing more than burned-out compost, sinking to the murky depths of the pool.

The joyous music of a lone banjo greeted the Count on the other side of the pool as the first hostage had been liberated. Pale yet beautiful moonbeams created a quietly comforting arch joining the pool and the stony slide leading out from one of the ledges upon the castle's walls. Yes, a ghostly dream-form of Kermit was there to greet the Count before disappearing. Horace showered the Count who was slightly taken a back with a small dose of sparkly essence. The dream magic had its intended effect, as the three materialized in an instant within the castle's grand hall. But instead of his friend, the Count found a figure of Kermit leisurely resting upon the mantle's main shelves. This frog spoke calmly, explaining that because of the dream state they were currently in, this would be how all of our Muppet friends would be rescued. Pleased with himself, Kermit then walked to the spot he would occupy as a glowing 1 appeared above the frog's face. The thunder rumbled and lightning shone after the Count finished counting the new addition to our collection.

Whoa! Was not expecting that! But wow, I love it! It's so haunting, this line especially

Chills. I love the description of everything, the swamp, the banjo, the glowing number 1. Wow. I am on the edge of my seat waiting for more (yeah, I know I've got my own fic to get to, I really am going to!)

Crazy! I look forward to more.
So, the characters are trapped in the castle in figure form? Not sure if I am clear on that.

Yes and no Bry. Remember this is all taking place in that middle ground between waking and drowsiness. The Muppets are all in a sort of individual nothingness, though the nothingness is all connected to itself in that intangible form nothingness often takes. Once the Muppet member is released, their being is then represented in figure form... Talking and moving by its own self figure form... Which'll get resolved in the end. More soon, not sure when though.
