New movies coming out...

I like the idea of a Chipmunks movie, and the characters seem right, but any movie that has to trash up a fun cartoon from my childhood with a poop-eating joke right in the trailer has already lost a good deal of my respect.

Maybe will get lucky and this seen wont actually make the finally cut. Maybe it really a good movie and they need seems like that just for a selling point. Ill try to stay hopeful but not too much judging by movie trailers.

Has anybody else seen a preview for Alvin and the Chipmunks

Yes, then I thought "who was the person who thought this brilliant idea up".

The preview looks horrible to boot, with Alvin eating some poop. What in the world?.........

Superbad wasn't what I thought it was going to be. It wasn't that funny to me. Granted it had it's "hehe" moments (and a lot of them), but there weren't any moments that made me still chuckle after I walked out of the movie. "Humor" aside, I liked the storyline a lot. The thing I liked about was what UncleMatt said...I did feel connected with the characters.

I'm curious about the 3:10 to Yuma remake. Original is a masterpiece, with an amazing, amazing performance by Glen Ford. I'm not sure that Russell Crowe can do the role justice after seeing the original, but still. . .I'm willing to give it a shot.

Has anybody heard about a third computer animated Ghostbusters

I heard about that UncleMatt. I guess the guys think they're too old to be on screen so they'd rather do a computer animated one. That could be cool. Or I think it'd be cool if they did a third ghostbusters movie, but in The Real Ghostbusters style animation.
