I'll tell you a movie not to go see, Cursed. I saw that today because I was bored and had nothing else to do. I thought it would be scary, since it's from Wes Craven, but it was just dull and mindless nonsense. 1 1/2 out of 4 stars.

"The Incredibles" comes out on DVD in a few weeks. I'm looking forward to seeing it.
I didnt like the Incredibles, I thought it was dreadfully over-rated. My fave Pixar film is Monsters Inc., but that's because it's a very silly film. I dont like when Disney get serious. I suppose the best part of TI is the small woman who designs the costumes, but only because of how much she reminds me of Nadia Almada. I went to see it with my best friend, Deborah. We were laughing at Nadia Almada [well not in a mean way cos she's fab] and the way she calls people "Dahlin'". Then we went to see it the next day and she smoked and said "Machine washable dahlin' and we were buckled for the rest of the movie!

And indeed Dee, I think Robots looks fabulous and Jim Broadbent is in it and I love him!! He's in all of my 3 fave movies; Magic Roundabout, Bridget Jones and Around The World In 80 Days. It looks like a good laugh, anyway.

Apparently Shrek three has King Arther (sp?) and the knights of the round table in it as bad guys.

Since we're talking about sequels here....Jurrasic Park 4 comes out next year in 2006. Probably more of the same, screaming and people getting eaten by huge dinos.

Well said. I fell asleep watching the second one on video, and never watched part three. However, I think the first one is one of the better movies for what it is.

On the other hand, some sequels are better than the first films. I guess not in the case of Dino-eats-human-amist-screaming type films, but films of deep characters (i.e. X-men) can have amazing sequels. Just worried about the third film since drector Bryon Singer has gone to make Superman (Which means we'll get a darn good Super man) but he's taken Cyclops (scott) with him, and maybe Jean Grey (who assumedly would have been Phoenix in the third film) with him too.

I mean, how annoying.

And worse, it looks like they are still going on with the film without these people. I say, why not just wait a year till he's finished Superman and do it then. They'd to better to miss on quick profits now and wait a year for us fans to be over-the-moon with a third X-men that dosn't let down the series.

Hmmm.

First of all- you'd better see Magic Roundabout and you'd better love it!!! Kylie Minogue is in it, and she is fabulous. As is Joanna Lumley. Hehe, just kidding. But you may have noticed I'm a wee bit obsessed. Bought the poster from Woolworths the other day, so now my wall has a Les Miserables poster, Jackie Stallone saying "Big Brother, is that what you call it" lots of Alanis Morissette album covers and Ermintrude and the gang. But, this isnt a thread about my walls. Although wouldnt that be great

*Dan prepares to type up a thread entitled "My Wall"*

Anyway, Shrek 3? Havent they done it to death yet? Shrek was fab, Shrek 4-D was OK, Shrek 2 was moderately OK but Shrek 3?

Forgot, Jim Broadbent is also in Moulin Rouge; another of my fave movies. Just thought; his role is who Fozzie parodied in Moulin Scrooge!
