Cool news...at that time of the year, I would be able to go!!

That's also a pretty smart location, so East Coasters would have a little bit better time making plans for this one.

Also, Sesame Street could get their stuff there, allowing for a pretty nice appearance.

Hey, thanks for posting that TP news Luke! I think Phil also posted a rumor that early Spring was being considered.
I really like this March idea, as I just am not sure if I could wait for a whole year...eeeeeee!!! Anyways, I hope to be getting a job soon *holy gasp heck freezing over Batman!* so that and ebay will hopefully prove to be enuff for a NYC trip.

Now, what do you guys think about this proposed date, the first week of March? I love it, but I can see why some people think it is too soon. However, think about this...can you just begin to imagine what Palisades, as well as other licencess...and other Muppet film/special projects would be revealed???(being as its right near toy fair and the tv/film expo thing)

>>>but it's a definite that the folks at Henson and Creation are working on putting a second convention together<<<

I certainly like this! And I feel that it is very good, given a lot of our personal financial things, as well as the fact JHC is very busy with the Xmas tv film, tv test pilot, and Walk of Fame thing this Fall. March seems very fresh, between January and Summer,
and marks what will most likely be the first step toward a whole new renniasance.

Considering none of us knew really, about Muppetfest One, til it was officially announced...rumors like this can wind us all up.
However, given a look at all, this does seem very probable.
The location, NYC sounds solid, as does sometime in 2003.
So th eonly question is about that date, and fest specifics.
Honestly, I can just imagine what JHC and Creation might do to top last years. And remember folks, while Muppetfest One was mostly a little over a thousand hardcore fans, who knows how many people could be at this one...suffice to say, 2003 is shaping up to be quite a monumental and interesting year.

Yeah sorry, i should have referred back to the MC thread as well myself- its an excuse i know, but it was like 1 minute away from dinner so i just rehashed what Danny had written in an effort to spread the news that this whole thing had been mentioned at the Comic Con.

It is obviously what we were all more or less already expecting from things already said but promising to know that there was talk of this at the Comic Con where Henson people were actualy appearing. Maybe someone asked a question on the panel or something ? Anyway i'm sure we'll hear what the talk was regarding Muppetfest AND Kermit Swamp Years as soon as people arrive back.

Oh, I would sincerely hope Sesame is part of Muppetfest in a big way. I could think of nothing cooler than seeing the Sesame gang and Muppet Show gang together, as well as even Bear in the Big Blue House(Imagine, a three of JHC big Muppet franchises together...its like WWF, WCW/nWo and ECW together if that had happened in 1997)

Just imagine, finally being able to see Telly, Big Bird, Oscar, etc live, OH MAN! One thing, there really should be a greet and meet the Muppets thing this time around, maybe just for the gold package members at least.

Im very curious, knowing that various MC people went to the SDCC, what they got out of the panel...AND in passing conversation(as you know at least a couple MC'ers there got to have a private conversatioon with at least a few JHC peoplefor some skinny!)

Anyways, very curious to hear what was said at that panel and unofficially from JHC!

I guess any news is better than no news. I'm just glad they're still talking about it.

However, I still would like to see a summer to midsummer date. That's just my personal preference, because of school and everything (now that I've said that I'm sure that Bill, Steve, and Dave are saying, "March! Yes, March! Blonde Psycho Girl wants it in summer!")...

I can see that, for me though the sooner in 2003 the better. I think because of college a lot would rather it be in Summer. Also to get off a whole week or so will be something.

hey, thats the first personal thing youve shared on MC in awhile!
LOL I seriously thought ya wore hats made out of tinfoil and giant muffin outfits^_^
