Nope, no tinfoil hat (I use my foil to make Foil Friends, right Jackie? ). I do have a flimsy plastic doozer helmet (although some people call it a construction helmet, but what do they know?)...

At a guess, i'd say one of the reasons why they want to do it in March rather than the Summer is that these places get booked up years in advance for the Summer months and it's probably impossible for them to book anywhere decent. Also Creation have a lot going on in the Summer with other conventions and things so this may be best. A March date is still likely hard to book, hence all the waits inbetween announcements but it sounds like they have somewhere in mind and pencilled in.

On a personal note - March will be a bad time for me to get there. This time i've got the money but thats like my busiest work month in the whole freakin year and i'm already pencilled in to be working on a TV shoot around about that time in London.

Of course there's always the offchance that something huge 'Muppety' might be happening in London soon that some of you guys might want to travel over for, so i might see you then. Thats all hypothetical though of course ! ;-)

Spring is the perfect time! Hope I can make it this time now that it's on the other side of the country! LOL! I do love NY though! Used to even live there, but where hasn't the frogboy lived? Guess I get around.

one way or another, my information says they should be making the announcement ANY time now. i really hope it's not in march, though...i'm already going to NY in febuary for ToyFair, and i really don't know if i can afford to do it again a month later. and if i have to choose, it's gonna be ToyFair. that's the one thing that COULD beat MuppetFest in my eyes, and going to it has been one of my goals in life.

March would be awesome cause that's my birthday month! What better way to celebrate than take a trip to New York for MuppetFest!

I'm going to have to agree with Emmy. March will be a hard time for a lot of people to get out of work, school, etc. If they want to hold it in the spring, why not June? The first two weeks of June are still technically part of spring.

March works for me. There will be no perfect time for everyone and I know it will be tough on people with school responsibilities, but NYC in early spring sure beats NYC in the height of summer with all that East Coast humidity and heat.

I think we're mostly all in agreement we need Sesame Street participation this year. I hope Creation contacts Sesame Workshop and puts together at least one Sesame panel and includes Sesame characters in a Q&A

Reposted from Ask Ken

Y'know I was just thinking, how cool would it be to have both Ken and Mike from Palisades do a Panel at Muppetfest. They can take Q&A on the figures and other products, show stills and things, do a talk with photos or video on the design process for the figures(which maybe Ken can take when he's next in China), and Byron can have the chance to pelt them with rotten fruit for the decision to move Janice back.
