Muppet College Dorms: The Next Semester

This is a friendly little reminder from the dorms management to all residents. As of Friday, you will have to vacate the dorms per the usual anniversary shut-down. As of Monday the 25th of August, we will be accepting and reviewing application submissions for residency. More will be posted later in the week. Thanks and have a good night.

Clifford: *shimmies up to the roof* Hey Ry-guy, whatcha up to?
Ryan: Putting up a perimeter.
Clifford: ...Why?
Ryan: So no one takes my property, of course.
Clifford: ...Right. So the roof is your property?
Ryan: It may as well be. Lisa and I have stayed up here during the anniversary shut-downs, remember?
Clifford: Duh. How could I forget the pigeons?
Ryan: Good point. But yeah, I'm setting up this blockade so no one takes our spot.
Clifford: Who would want this spot, dude?
Ryan: C'mon, Cliff! This is prime real-estate here!
Clifford: It's real alright... Real uncomfortable.
Ryan: *shrug* Say what you will, but you're my roommate so you have no choice.
Clifford: *sighs* Yeah, yeah, I know.

Lisa: <climbs up on the roof> Thanks for saving our spot, Prawnie! Boy, it'll be great to get out in the fresh air again. <Inhales... exhales> ...Well! Back to locking myself into my little bombshelter of a room. See ya soon! <climbs back down>

Nora: Are we going to have a repeat of last year?
Beige: I don't know - what happened?
Erin: Oh, a few people barricaded themselves on the roof and started a near revolt or something.
Storyteller: It didn't come to a revolt, Erin - but I do remember some foodstuffs being thrown.
Scooter: I think I vaguely remember that...so what are we doing for the two weeks?
Erin: Well, Nora, if you're not up to putting up with the boorish brother, terror twins and scary scout for two weeks, you can hole up in my spare room.
Beige: And I'll go off and visit the family in the Cave.
Storyteller: I've been asked to a meeting of storytelling Fraggles in the Rock.
Scooter: I guess I'll go visit uncle J.P. and aunt Nancy for a bit...and think of more ways to remind Kermit that my uncle owns the theater.
Beige: Real tactful, gofer.
Nora: But what about room assignments?
Erin: Hmmm...well, we all know we're going to be in the same building at least. But I guess we'll know more later on.

Kim: Dorm shut-down time is coming up again, guys. Same plan as last year?
Boober: That was all of us spending the break at your house, right?
Kim: Right.
Gillis: I might not be able to join you for a few days. The Minstrels are supposed to be coming back around the Rock's way.
Kim: Can't blame you for wanting to spend time with your girlfriend, Gil.
Gillis: She's not my--
Kim: Tosh, Mimzy, Boober? How 'bout you guys?
Tosh: Works for me! Can we have a T*Witches marathon?
Boober: What marathon? There are only two movies.
Kim: Six of one, half dozen of the other. Yeah, I suppose Tosh. But not on a school night.
Mimzy: But I thought we were getting a break from school.
Kim: You guys are, but the regular school year just started. I'm expecting to start getting called in to sub sometime in early September. Give the regular aides time to straighten up their schedules, and to let all the germs these kids have spread and incubate.
Boober: ...I'd better make sure the medicine cabinet's stocked up...

Wonderful... Now all the Piggy followers will be out in the open en masse. New book written by miss Hamhocks herself will tend to do that. Oh well.

*Flips out to get some breakfast.

(a package is sent to Kyle's room containing sesame seed honey bars, the letter of the day cookie (letter K) and oatmeal raisen cookies, with a note saying "Happy Birthday, Kyle! From the gang in room 29.)

*Drops off a card for Kyle with birthday wishes, and a teddy monster for him to hug.

*Returns to Room 1. *Checks email... Yes! Got all the songs, so tomorrow I'll start putting the band's album together.
*Bat flies in a fixed cassette from Mom.
Ah, thanks. Maybe now I can finish reading.

Should talk to Beth or Erin about something for my next haunter. Eh, I'll discuss it later.
*Heads off to try and finish HP2.

Beth: *looking around at the piles of clothes and other miscellaneous stuff* Man, how are we ever going to get this room packed and clean by Friday?
Red: I don't know
Mokey: We'll figure it out
Beth: I can't believe another year has almost passed. So, Red and Mokey you're heading back to the Rock for a bit?
Mokey: Yes, it will be good to see all of our friends for a bit
Beth: And Abby, you're going to your mom and dad's right?
Abby: Right!
Beth: And so Wanda? You coming with me?
Wanda: Yeah, I think that would be the best
Beth: Great, so we all know where we're going, now we just need to get all cleaned up and ready to go
