Erin: As long as Gillis steers clear of Secaucus, he'll be okay.
Nora: Isn't that kind of blunt? I mean, someone on the forum could be from Secaucus.
Erin: Okay, fine, the city's cleaned up a bit in the last several years, but it still has a bad reputation of sorts. My parents went to med school in Newark; they'll know all about it.
Storyteller: But what is Gillis doing in New Jersey?
Scooter: Maybe he's in Closter.
Beige: Why, what's in Closter?
Scooter: Richard's mother, some of his ashes, and I think one of his sisters as well.
Storyteller: Well, we'll find out once Kim brings Gillis back.

*A basket is left on Kim's doorstep for Boober. The basket has various packages in it wrapped in beautiful orangy tissue paper. The first is a mosaic picture of a radish made with colorfully shiny (and clean) bottlecaps, generously donated from Bert's collection; also in the basket are a set of purple dish towels, a Sesame Street cookbook containing favorite recipe's from the whole Sesame Street gang, and a small Snuffleupagus idol from Hawaii that is said to bring goodluck...though it has not yet been proven. There is a tag that says, "Happy Fraggle birthday, Boober! Love, the gang in Room #29*

*on the road back from Closter, NJ*

Kim: So...wanna explain how in the world you ended up in Closter?
Gillis: Do I have to?
Kim: It'd be a load off of my mind. You had us all worried sick, you know, Tosh most of all. Boober almost had her convinced you'd met some terrible end.
Gillis: He's good at that.
Kim: Yeah, I know. So what happened?
Gillis: *sighs* I'd gone down to the Rock, to the T. Matthew Fraggle room. No one uses it save for Matt and his nephew, so it was quiet enough for...for what I needed. And while I was down there I accidentally...
Kim: I gotcha. Those tunnels can be tricky. So I guess my next question would be, why wait so long to get in touch with us? You were gone for almost four days, Gil. That's around 72 hours.
Gillis: I...I don't know. Maybe it was something I needed to do, being there, visiting his home. I can't really say for sure.
Kim: Well...I guess I can accept that, for now. But next time, if you want to go up to Closter and pay your respects, let the rest of us know? You don't have to go it alone.
Gillis: I know. Thanks.

Scooter: I knew it. He'd ended up in Closter.
Erin: (quietly) He misses Richard as much as you do, Scooter.
Scooter: I know.
Beige: What about you - weren't you going to go there, too?
Scooter: I did - I went there a few days ago.
Nora: You know, about those vases of peonies we had on the table...
Scooter: I gave them to Mrs. Hunt when I dropped in. And I told her the rest of you said hello.
Erin: Very good...I'll bet she appreciated them. After all...Richard was her son.
Storyteller: (suddenly wipes eyes and clears throat) Someone needs to post a map in Matt's room - not every Fraggle has a built-in GPS system, and I don't think Kim would like another car ride through north Jersey.

Snuffy: Is it on yet, Bird?
Big Bird: Not yet.
Bryan: It won't be on for a while, Snuffy. I'll let you know.
Ernie: It's so exciting that Oscar is going to be on TV tonight!
Cookie: What show?
Ernie: 1 vs. 100.
Cookie: What show about?
Ernie: It's a big wrestling match where the number 1 and the number 100 battle it out for champion of the Number World!
Bert: (Lowers brow) Not exactly...
Ernie: I'll go get the popcorn!
Bryan: It's actually a television gameshow, Cookie Monster.
Cookie: Oooh! Me know about gameshow! Me was on Beat the Time starring Guy Smiley.
Bryan: Oh that's right. Guy Smiley doesn't host this one though.
Big Bird: Too bad. He's "America's favorite gameshow host"!
Bert: And he hasn't been doing much hosting lately. I wonder why.
Bryan: (Laughing) He probably went the way of Bob Eubanks and Dick Clark.
Roomies: (All look at me strangely as if to say "Who?")
Bryan: Nevermind...

Heh... Saw that meself. You'll have to pay attention, cause Oscar's segments are brief. And I heard Guy Smiley will be hosting a few games in the future, a DVD release in March, some the gang played back on Play With Me Sesame.

Oh well... *Settles for a night's sleep.
