*A box is left outside of room one with bat shaped cookies, a DVD documentary on Bats in the Wild, a picture painted by Mokey of the Dorms resident cats: Fatatita, Wanda and Gaffer, and of course, as always a pumpkin from Abby. Included is a card signed of all the residents of room three wishing Ed many happy returns of the day*

 

[BEAR]

Bryan: Okay, gang...let's take these gifts over to Ed's room!
Cookie: Oh boy, oh boy!
Big Bird: I hope he likes the things we're giving him.
Bryan: Me too.
Ernie: I wonder if there's going to be a party.
Bert: Ernie, I'm sure we would have heard of one by now.

(We leave a few gifts for Ed: A brass bat lantern to hang, a gift certificate for anything at Hooper's Store, and a box of homemade chocolate chip cookies with a couple blue hairs in the box--big surprise--.)

 

[The Count]

Hmmm... Now I wonder who left these here. Come on guys, help me carry the load inside would ya?
Count and Uncle D are pleased, thinking that if the present of fic they tried to get won't be here, then it's on to Plan B.

*Calls Bryan's room by phone to know if Cookie Monster would be interested in having some of these delicious chocolate chip cookies with the rest of the gang later tonight.

Grover: *stutters*

Murray: What's wrong with Grover?

He's a little birthday struck.

Bruce: Kinda of like star struck.

Three of the monsters run off to the right and Herry and me head off to the left

*as i'm running* We'll have to find another way to get Ed his present's without him knowing.

Herry: *running* Maybe we can get his bats to sneek them into his room.

*Getting a muffin and a mug of hot chocolate. Oh hey Kyle... Still working on that present. That's why my own fic hasn't been updated. There are cookies and hot chocolate in the common room if you or the monsters want any.
*Goes back downstairs none the wiser.

Herry, Murray and Bruce run back each stopping on a foot right in line after hearing Ed mentioning Cookies and Hot Chocolate

Oh come on guys. *taps foot while hands are on my hip*

Grover: (whew) That was close. He could have seen them.

Yep. Come on. We have to go wrap them. We'll let those guys have their fun. Then we'll go get some.

Grover: Sounds good.

We both head off to our room

I'm growing further addicted to the fanfics you read.
They really are delightful...

Claudia:
Don't neglect your job as a washed out inventor!

Bunsen:
(Adjusts his glasses primly)
I resent that.

Claudia:
I mean, a superior scientist with a brilliant mind that has yet to be used?

Bunsen:
I'm convinced!
(Giddly relieves himself of the computer and gets back to work)

Beaker:
(Glares at Claudia)

Claudia:
Yeah, I know you'll be tortured some more...
but somebody has to get on for a good read.

Beaker:
MEEE MEEE MEE!

Claudia:
That's why we have Christmas--get a break on that day.


Dr. Van Neuter:
Claudia, get out of my space!
You're causing bad vibes to MY lab.

Things have been breaking whenever you decide to skip by.

(scoffs)

Claudia:

(Gets her laptop and sits comfortably on her bed)
