Beth: Mm, I love Oreos! *looks over at Abby who's napping and Wanda enjoying her tuna* Is your tuna good Wanda?
Wanda: Sure is!
Beth: Looks like Red's enjoying her doozer sticks back there
Wanda: Doesn't she always?
Beth: I suppose. I think we should be arriving to Sesame Street pretty soon. I don't really remember how long it takes to get there though. *sits back and enjoys the ride*

Nora: (looking up from magazine) How far out are we?
MN: (pauses while playing guitar) Don't know, probably no more than an hour.
Storyteller: (snips through a thread while working on quilt) Well, that delay back there was fairly long.
MN: I know, how long does it take to get a broken-down Studebaker off the track?
Storyteller: Good point.
Nora: So who are we gonna visit?
MN: Well, I've been meaning to do a profile story on Little Jerry and the Monotones, Storyteller wants to visit Mr. Hooper's store...and Nora, I think you'll want to meet Sherlock Hemlock.

(each resumes her respective activity, as the train continues on toward Sesame Street)

Bry: Hey, does that sign look familiar, Big Bird?
Big Bird: Hey, it sure does!
Telly: We're here!!
Bry: (pulls the bus up and parks in an open lot on the end of Sesame Street) Okay, all out for Sesame Street!!

Big Bird: Oh this is going to be so much fun!!
If you feel lonely and you need a friend
I know a place on which you can depend
A place that’s quiet and always near by
And you know there

Grover: No one is a stranger, the door is open wide
And what good things you will find waiting inside
The smiles, the kindness, all troubles behind
When you go there

Big Bird/Grover: You’re on the happiest street in the world
The happiest street in the beautiful world
A place to be on, a place to be free
For you and for me

Wanda: You don't have any big dogs around here, do you?
Big Bird: Only Barkley.
Betty Lou: Yeah, but he's real friendly!

Sesame Street Gang: Yes it’s the happiest street in the world
The happiest street in the wonderful world

Big Bird: Wherever I ever go, the happiest street I know

Bry: Come on, Everybody!

(All the Muppets and their roomies are exploring the various areas of the street during the song)

Everyone: You’re on the happiest street in the world
The happiest street in the beautiful world
Wherever I ever go, the happiest street I know

Telly: Sometimes you worry, you’re down on your fears
Abby: (to Red) But, when you’re with us, those thoughts disappear (waves her wand and disappears)
Bert/Ernie: (on each side of Sara, singing to her) We’ll be together, our friendship will grow
So, you see here

(Herry, helps push Kathy in her wheelchair as Prairie sings)
Prairie: The sun’s always shining, the sky’s always blue
(Herry: Like me!)
Rosita: And someone loving is waiting for you (gives Kathy, who's in her wheelchair, a warm fuzzy hug)
Count: It’s not so far from the place that you are
Please come be here

Non-Sesame folks (includes Scooter, Gonzo, Clifford, the Fraggles, Wanda, Sadie, Skeeter, etc.): ‘Cause it’s the happiest street in the world
The happiest street in the wonderful world

Cookie: Wherever me ever go!
All: The happiest street I know

Ed: One more time!

Everyone: You’re on the happiest street in the world
The happiest street in the beautiful world
Wherever I ever go, the happiest street I know

After arriving on Sesame Street and unfolding his trusted bat-topped walking staff... That sure was a nice song Bry. Bit surprised Betty Lou's here, not sure if Kim said she'd be coming. Oh well, she'll catch up with us later I hope.

Now then... Tummies' are a rumblin'... So what say you we get over to Charlie's and have a great group dinner? Wonder if Mr. Johnson will mind if we get better service though.
*Mischievous twinkle at Christy. The tap-tap-tapping of the walking staff on the sidewalk can be heard as we make our way down the beaten path to the restaurant.

Bry: It's been a while since we've been to Charlie's Resteraunt. I'm excited!
Telly: Me too! I'll even consider having my grilled cheese sandwhich cut into squares again.
Bry: Good for you, Telly!
Telly: Why aren't we taking the bus to dinner?
Bry: Because the resteraunt is just a little ways down the street and we don't need the bus. Besides, I'm tired. I've been driving that thing for a long time.
Big Bird: Yeah, and it's a nice night for a walk! (sings) "It's the happiest street in the world..."

As the dorms gang reaches the restaurant doors... No, actually, that was Lou Fraggle, the third of Kate's Fragglish roomies. Oh, we're here.
Hello sir... *Talking to unseen person behind the counter.
Yes, we'd like a table for 40... Well, there are 36 members in our party, three more will be arriving by train in a while... And we wouldn't want to make the same mistake Guy Smiley made that one time...
Oh, thank you. The entire roster of residents shuffle down to the stairs at the end of Charlie's Restaurant and are prompted to go upstairs, where they can have the entire second floor to themselves.

Um, miss... We have a person in a wheelchair... Would it be possible...
*From somewhere behind the front counter, a button gets pressed turning the stairs into a ramp for Kathy to be wheeled upstairs.

That's better... Come on guys, sit down and let's get some menus to prepare our orders. Who knows, we might get some actual food this time.
*Subtle laughter rises from the various dorms' diners.

(gang walks in)

MN: Hi, we're with the Muppet Central party, they should have arrived not too long ago...okay, second floor dining room. Thanks. Upstairs, you guys.

(upstairs, moments later)

MN: Hi, guys, the train just got in a little while ago!
Nora: Is it time to eat yet? I'm famished!

Betty Lou: I'm here, Ed, don't worry. I just slept on the bus. Kim, Gillis, Boober and Tosh are driving up, though. And here they come now!
*a white Saturn pulls up behind the bus, and Kim and the Fraggles get out*
Betty Lou: What kept you guys?
Kim: Well apparently, even Fraggles get carsick. *nods head to Gillis, looking a tad greener than usual*
Betty Lou: You okay, Gillis?
Gillis: (weakly) Fine, fine. Just need to...sit for a bit, that's all.
Tosh: Lucky thing Kim remembered a garbage bag.
Kim: Hey, I've been on this planet 25 years; I've been around that particular block more than my fair share.
Boober: I knew I should have bought that Dramamine stuff at the store.
Kim: Well, kind of late in the game now, Boober. Don't worry, Gillis. We'll wait until you're feeling a bit better before heading somewhere.
Betty Lou: Maybe having something to drink will settle your stomach. Big Bird gets birdseed milkshakes at Hooper's Store...I'm sure they can whip you up a radish soda or something.
Kim: Good idea, Betty Lou. Whaddaya say, Gil, feel up to it?
Gillis: *takes a deep breath* I think so.

-Kim
