Bry: You mean other than the one the lives downstairs?

Bry: I thought you'd like it.
Rosita: Did you like the present from me and Prairie, Telly?
Telly: Oh yes, it's such a beautiful scarf.
Rosita: We made it ourselves.
Bry: You did?
Prairie: My mother taught me how to do a little crocheting once and I just tried it out.


(Bert and Ernie are walking into the room from the hall, they just went shopping)
Ernie: I hope Telly likes what I got him.
Bert: Yeah, but you know...I think I really got Telly something he'd like.
Ernie: Oh yeah? What did you get him, Bert?
Bert: Argyle socks!
Ernie: Uuh...Bert, I hate to break it to ya, but nobody likes argyle socks as much as you. Besides, Telly doesn't wear socks. He doesn't even wear shoes!
Bert: Well, we'll just see. I'll bet he likes my gift just as much as yours. Maybe more.
Ernie: Okay, Bert...
(walking into room)
Ernie: Hey, Telly! I know these are a little late, but we got you some birthday presents.
Telly: Oh boy! I wonder what they are.
Ernie: Open mine first.
Telly: Okay...(opens the present from Ernie)...drumsticks and a mini drum!
Ernie: Yeah, you like it!
Telly: How fun! Thanks, Ernie!
Ernie: You're welcome, Telly.
Bert: Open mine now!
Telly: Okay, thanks, Bert!...Argyle socks!!
Bert: Yeah!
Telly: I don't really wear socks, but...Wow, look at all the triangles in the argyle pattern! This is one of the best gifts I've gotten. Thanks, Bert.
Bert: You're welcome!! (laughs)
Ernie: You mean, you like Bert's socks more than my mini drum?
Telly: I like all my gifts. They all have such thought and love behind them. What nice friends. Where are Grover and Herry?
Bry: They had to go to work today.
Telly: Oh, they built me a big pyramid out of blocks for my birthday. See?
Bry: Very nice!
Telly: Yeah, be careful not to knock it over. They spent a long time on it. And several trials.
Bert: What's that smell?
Telly: Oh that's my gift from Oscar.
Bry: Oscar?
Telly: Yeah, it's an old stale slice of pizza wrapped in wet newspaper.
Prairie: Pew!
Bry: I guess even Grouches can wish someone a happy birthday in their own way.
Oscar: (sticks head in doorway) Hey! That's rotten birthday...I never sent anything saying happy!

Me: That was a good dinner guys. Thanks for coming with me.
Gonzo: Anytime Ry.
Clifford: Yeah dude, whenever we can get a free meal, we leap at the chance.
Me: Sheesh...Anyway, I think I'm gonna put in a movie and enjoy some popcorn. Anyone care to join me?
Uncle Deadly: Ah, you know I would love that Ryan my fiend.
Camilla: Bawk bagawk byuck?
Me: Sorry Camilla. We don't have Chicken Little. I was thinking Fraggle Rock. Whadaya say?

ZOE: I got a lot of gifts, a new tutu from you, Baby Bear and Little Bird, Elmo gave me some ballet slippers, Cookie, Grover, Herry and Maurice gave me a ballet video

MN: Finally, October's here. The weather's going to start getting colder, the leaves are going to turn, the nights are going to get longer...
Storyteller: You've never been a warm-weather person, have you?
MN: No, I've never been one for humidity...plus, everyone in here has a birthday in the fall and winter.
Nora: Right. Erin and I are both in November, and you're in February...but we've got lots of time to plan for that.
Storyteller: Yeah. In the meantime, we've got to break out the sweaters, grab a few pumpkins from the patch outside of town...figure out how best to scare people on the 31st...
MN: Oh, Don Sahlin can give us LOTS of pointers on that. And I think Dave and Richard will have a few ideas up their sleeves as well.
Storyteller: And you two need to get through midterms...
Nora: Oh, no, don't remind us.

Did I hear someone mention my favorite time of year?
Count: Ah, how do I love October and all the frights it brings... Let me count the vays!
No, you'll have time enough for that over in the fanfic I'm writing.
Count: You actually started that up again?
Yes, but now I have a better angle to exploit... And I think you'll have much more fun there.

But remember we'll be decorating the dorms for Halloween like we do every year. Let's see... We dressed up in costumes and had a scavenger hunt the first year...
Count: And then you got all the vonderful Halloween carniwal attractions last year.
Yeah... So what do we do this year?
Count: Not sure, maybe our fiends vill have some suggestions. Eh, I bet you're fright.
We can make an announcement tomorrow if need be. Check you guy slater though, have some stories to read up on.

Hmmm, wonder if Telly and Zoe found our gifts.
What's that Fatatatita? Oh, well... We got Telly a triangular case for his musical triangle, with a zipper that goes all the way around the triangle itself. And we got Zoe a Fragglish stone necklace. Guess I'll just mosy on down and get some breakfast. Hope Kathy gets better soon. You sure miss playing with Gaffer don't you...
