Bry: Hey, we're back!
Hoots: Hey!
Stinky: Hello!
Bry: What are you two doing?
Hoots: Oh, we were just singing a little from "Little Shop of Numbers."
Rosita: Don't you mean "Horrors"?
Stinky: No, "Numbers". It's my favorite musical!!
Hoots: How was the parade? We saw you on TV.
Big Bird: It was a blast.
Telly: Yeah and so many of our friends were there too.
Big Bird: It was especially nice to see Bert and Ernie because we don't get to see them around here.
Snuffy: I couldn't be in the parade this time.
Bry: Have you ever been in the parade, Snuffy?
Snuffy: I...don't remember...
Bry: Oh.
Snuffy: But I couldn't do it this year because I had to help my mom get dinner ready. I have a big family.
Hoots: How many people?
Snuffy: Oh, there were only 5 of us, but we're big! O-hoho! I watched some of the parade with Bryan before I had to go. I wanted to watch Alice and she was so great.
Bry: She is a cutie. It's been a long time since I've seen her.
Hoots: Did you all have good Thankgivings?
Telly: I did. I went to my grandma's house. She makes the best pumpkin pie...sliced into perfect triangles. My favorite part of the day was the parade though. I got to hang out with my buddy Baby Bear.
Rosita: Si. I went home to be with mi familia. We had so much food to eat. We had turkey, but we also had lots of beans and rice and corn.
Telly: Beans and rice?
Rosita: Uh huh. My family is from Mexico, so we eat some of the same things just a little differently.
Big Bird: Everyone has their own traditions. I had a great time at Bryan's house with his family.
Bry: Yeah, we had about 14 people at my place.
Big Bird: I sat at the kids table with Bryan's cousins who are about my age. They were talking about a movie they just saw called "Chicken Little" and it sounds funny.
Bry: We're all going to see it tomorrow.
Hoots: Sounds like you all had a great time.
Bry: Yeah, how was your day, Hoots? You and Stinky do okay here at the dorms?
Hoots: Oh yeah. We had a good time.
Stinky: Lovely time!
Bry: I'm glad.
Hoots: Today is Beth's birthday though and there is a party down at the pool.
Bry: That's right. Rosita, where did you put Beth's present?
Rosita: Right here under the bed all wrapped.
Bry: Great! I hope she likes it. We got her the Sesame Street Monopoly game.
Telly: How could she not like it?
Bry: Shall we head down to the pool?
Telly: Yes, we should.
Bry: Okie dokie. Let's go guys!
Rosita: Come on, Stinky. (picks him up by the pot)
Stinky: Okay!
(we all head out to the pool for Beth's party)
