Big Bird: What's wrong?
Bry: Grover's birthday party is tonight and I won't be able to make it. I have a very important recording session tonight for a show. You guys all should go ahead though. Make sure you give him the present from us, okay.
Bert: Don't worry. Ernie and I wrapped it this morning.
Big Bird: What did we get him again?
Bry: A musical globe.
Bert: It's really neat! You use a little electronic pointer and when you touch a country, the globe plays that country's national anthem.
Bry: That little globe-trotting monster will soon be the globe-singing monster! Well, make sure you give that to him. I'll be going now. Don't make too much of a mess while I'm gone. We want it to be clean when Rosita, Prairie Dawn and Gaffer come to stay with us tomorrow.
Bert: Okay.
Bry: Bye! See you soon!

<they hide again, Robin peeks adorably out from under a lampshade> I sure am excited to wish Grover a happy birthday! I'm gonna give him back the fraggle pebble that he gave me last Christmas, that I gave him another Christmas.

Kermit: <careful not to be heard by Robin> He looks so cute peeking out from a lampshade. Almost as cute as when he's peeking through tall grass.

Robot Kermit: Yep: My nephew sure is cute!

Kermit: <instantly annoyed> Robin is MY nephew! You are NOT ME!!

Leyla: Ooh! They're really coming now!!

Herry: Oh, I'm so happy!

<They hide. Grover pushes open the door, followed closely by Wanda>

All: SURPRISE!!!!

Grover: OH! Oh my goodness! This is so SPECIAL! A birthday party for me? Thank you so much everybody!!

OK, I have to stop hanging around Catherine's door hoping for updates to Kermie's Girl, the French's starting to rub off on me.

Count: Good thing ve got a chance to hexchange our purchases.
Yep. Just in time too.

Grover? Here's a gift from the Count and me to you. It's a printed bound copy of One Little Star, the story we wrote centering around you and the figures of the rest of the guys.
Count: And ve also got you an I-pod for listening to music vhen you're on break at either Charlie's or the supermarket's deli section.

Maurice got you a nice autumnal muffler with peppermint stripes and an embossed G in blue on the center white stripe.
Count: Ewen Cookie Monster chipped in and baked you a batch of his hearty apple walnut raisin cookies, they're wrapped here in the box from Mike's Bakery.
*Handing over the presents.
Sure hope you like 'em fuzzy face, and have a happy birthday Grover baby.

Rosita: Si. Kathy is going to be away for a week on a cruise.
Prairie: Oh, I am so jealous, but I'm happy for Kathy. She deserves the vacation.
Bert: Well, Bryan's not in right now, but he'll be back home a little later this afternoon. Just put your things down and make yourselves at home.

Storyteller is in the kitchen, preparing tonight's dinner: rockweed bisque.

Storyteller: And one cup cream, two teaspoons Doozer stick powder, one pinch of ground Nirvana tree bark for extra spice...
MN: (enters kitchen) Hey, Storyteller, do we have any more turpentine?
Storyteller: Yeah, it's in the...mother of Fedora Fraggle, you've got paint all over your hands!
(MN's hands resemble an acrylic-splotched Easter egg)
MN: Yeah, I've been working on a painting project. For a friend. And I need to clean off my brushes.
Storyteller: Oh...do we know this friend?
MN: Yeah...but I can't tell you guys exactly what it is I'm making. Not just yet.
