Bert: Thanks, Ernie. You sure you don't want to come along?
Ernie: Can't, Bert. I'm gonna be on the football team. I can't do both.
Telly: Why not?
Ernie: They'd conflict. You go along and have fun.
Bert: Okay, Ernie. Bye!
Bry: Bye, Ernie. Come along, guys!

You know... Thought Telly would try out for the football team, thought most of the monsters would. Then again, I trust Clifford to run the team as captain this year, he'll get me the info of who's on the team before the big game on Saturday.

Storyteller: Ooh...that's the sixth time that's happened. The flower fumes in the Caves of Boredom will do that to you.
MN: No, Storyteller, those were the paint fumes in the Caves of Ablutions.
Storyteller: Whatever, Boober will hide in there either way. Now I need to set up my rock fountain...oh, where's the switch on this thing...

Ernie: Hey, Bert, how were the tryouts for the choir?
Bert: Great! I hope I get in.
Telly: It was fun, but I think I'm going to take Ed's idea and go out for the football team instead.
Bry: Whatever makes you happy, Telly. I really think that Big Bird would be great in the choir.
Big Bird: Well, I do love to sing!
