Kim: *sits back in a beanbag chair and sighs* Barring any unforseen substitutions, I am free for the weekend. Hallelujah.
Tosh: Got any plans?
Kim: Yeah, getting my hair cut.
Tosh: Aw, I think your hair looks pretty when it's long like that.
Kim: Yeah, but it's harder to manage. I get more snarls in it, and I have to constantly worry about it being in my face...it's just easier to have it short. I don't know what I was thinking having it long all those years ago.
Gillis: Where DO Silly Creatures go to get their hair cut?
Boober: I think it's a place called a barber shop, where they have sharp snippy-things and buzzing creatures that eat hair. You'll have to ask Gobo's uncle Matt.
Kim: *sighs* No, Boober. It's not quite like that. Besides, I go up to the salon, not the barber shop. There's a difference.

Yeah... But what's the difference between a barber shop and a salon?
Count, jokingly: About $60 worth.

Heh, good one. Hey Kyle, Corpse Bride's already out on VHS and DVD? Awesome, will have to get it to go with Nightmare Before Christmas here in my video collection.

Well, see you guys later, gotta get ready to leave for another day at the campus.

*Renee, The Country Trio, and Scooter, are all sitting on the top of the couch, in the main room on the first floor with each of their instruments in hand. Renee is sitting on the back of the couch, with Jim in front of her, on the seat. Frank is in the middle on the seat, between Jerry, who has Scooter sitting above him on the back of the seat too, who's beside Renee. Jim has his banjo, Jerry his guitar, Scooter his own guitar, Frank his tub bass, and finally Renee with her saxhorn.*

Renee: *She plays a few soulful notes on her saxhorn, smiling.* You guys wanna play something?

*The rest of them nod, tuning up for a second or two.*

Jim: Any ideas what we should play, Renee?

Renee: How about we let Scooter choose. He'd probably know a few good songs.

Scooter: *He blushed a little bit.* Aw...I'm not really sure myself!

Jerry: *He smiles, strumming his guitar a little bit, playing the starting notes on a beautiful soft song.* I think I know what we should play guys...

Jim: Good choice, Jerry...

Jim [Singing]:
"Well, I'd like to visit the moon
On a rocket ship high in the air
Yes, I'd like to visit the moon
But I don't think I'd like to live there
Though I'd like to look down at the earth from above
I would miss all the places and people I love
So although I might like it for one afternoon
I don't want to live on the moon."

Renee [Singing]:
"I'd like to travel under the sea
I could meet all the fish everywhere
Yes, I'd travel under the sea
But I don't think I'd like to live there
I might stay for a day there if I had my wish
But there's not much to do when your friends are all fish
And an oyster and clam aren't real family
So I don't want to live in the sea."

Scooter [Singing]:
"I'd like to visit the jungle, hear the lions roar
Go back in time and meet a dinosaur
There's so many strange places I'd like to be
But none of them permanently."

Jerry [Singing]:
"So if I should visit the moon
Well, I'll dance on a moonbeam and then
I will make a wish on a star
And I'll wish I was home once again
Though I'd like to look down at the earth from above
I would miss all the places and people I love."

All [Singing]:
"So although I may go I'll be coming home soon
'Cause I don't want to live on the moon
No, I don't want to live on the moon."

*Renee finishes off the song with a deep soft tone on her saxhorn, with Jerry and Scooter strumming softly with her.*

Frank: *Snoring loudly between all four of them*

Renee:  Wow. It put Frank to sleep!!

Jerry: Anything puts that man to sleep.
Jim: *He laughs watching Frank snooze between him and Jerry.*

Beth: *overhearing music from Renee's room* Oh I love that song! It's one of my favorites!
Red: I think I've heard that before. What's it from again?
Beth: Sesame Street. Ernie sings that one.
Red: Oh that's right!
Mokey: It's so lovely. Like a sweet little lullaby!
Beth: So, what are you ladies up to today?
Red: Swim practice! Woo-hoo!
Beth: Big surprise. Mokey?
Mokey: Well, I'm going to paint for awhile, then there's a Birdketeer meeting, at least I think there is, and then I'm working at the library.
Beth: Cool! Sounds like a full day!

*Renee walks down the hall, back up to their room, playing a janty tune on her saxhorn, she's playing Mr. Bassman, which is a little difficult. Scooter is playing around, singing his part, while Jerry is singing Floyd's part. She hits a bad note, and all three laugh goodnaturedly. She stops in front of Beth's room.*

Hey! How ya doing, Beth? Did you like our music?? We just love to play for everyone, ya know!

Heh, yeah, know what you mean Kyle. Will probably get it as an Easter present for myself or my buddy here. You can borrow my VHS copy of NBX if you want. And on the subject of videos to buy that I've been meaning to do, maybe I can get both season sets of FR later this year or some more TMS VCD episodes from Justin. Certainly know I'll have more money now that the Sesame Street figures won't be coming, at least not from Palisades.

Bry: How was the Birdkateer meeting today, Big Bird?
Big Bird: Oh, it was great. Mokey Fraggle showed me a picture she painted of a cute little swallow. It was really pretty.
Snuffy: What's a swallow?
Big Bird: A swallow is a type of bird, Snuff.
Snuffy: Oh.
Rosita: But, Bryan, you never told us why you were so upset a few days ago.
Bry: Oh, it wasn't that big a deal, Rosita. I was just disappointed in my audition last week.
Telly: What happened?
Bry: I blanked out on the words at the end of the song.
Snuffy: Oh dear.
Bry: Yeah. Oh, well. It happens and I'm pretty over it now and...Wait! Did I hear Ed correctly. No Sesame Street figures now?? Uh oh. Excuse me, guys. I'll be right back. (runs downstairs to Ed's room to confirm the info).
Big Bird: What was that all about?

*Opens door... Who's... Bryan, my friend, haven't heard nor seen you in... What? Yes, I'm sad to say. The news was delivered by Mike Horn himself via a letter sent to and posted on the Palisades forums by Michael Crawford. Palisades Entertainment LLC is out of business. However, it was bought out by Licensed by CAS LMTD. Yes, that's the full name of the company based in Tennessee that's taking over. Not rully sure if this means that almost all of Palisades' web features such as the collector's club or all the lines being developed like SS will be back in full force. All we can do is wait and hope for the best when Licensed by CAS shows up at this year's International Toy Fair in NYC in a couple of weeks time. But Palisades as we know it has officially shut down for business.

Hope that helps clear up the confusion my friend.
