Muppet College Dorms: The Next Semester

[The Count]

UD: Truly a superb serving of ghoulash tonight. Think I'll skulk around in the shadows. Might even play some soothing lullabies on the organ up in the third floor's common room.
Count: So many good friends to count on, think I'll check up on the list of creatures who want admission to the castle.
Me: Well, gotta get to the bat-room and wash up, early roll-out tomorrow.

*Soon all are asleep in Room #1.

*strolls into dorm room all alone* Ah, it's so peaceful. *lays on couch* Would it be bad of me to have one peaceful night alone and collect my roomies tomorrow?

UD: *appears from behind the couch* Yes, yes it would!

Ah! *falls off the couch* Uncle D.! What are you doing here?!

UD: Oh, I was just skulking around the dorms and saw you so, I thought I'd be here to greet you when you arrived.

Sheesh, well thanks I guess. So, I guess you're gonna make me go get the others?

UD: Now I didn't say that, in fact, I enjoy the deadly silence. So, I agree that we should stay here and sulk in our pitch black silence.

*blink* O-kay, will do, well, I'm tired, so I'm off to bed! I'll see you tomorrow after school my freaky friend!

UD: Good fright Ryan!

*Already at the campus office... Sure was great having Uncle Deadly as a guest this past weekend again. Thought he'd stay till Tuesday, guess Ryan got back earlier than planned. Hope he and the rest of his roomies enjoy the bat cookies I gave to Uncle D for the gang over there in Room #25.

*Starts to drag in a large bag through the dorm's front door, smiling.* Yeah, this'll do our room great. =D *hauls bag up to room #22.* Hey Scooter!! Guess what I found in my Grampa's house!!

Scooter: What? A new radio? Bicycle parts? A Six-String Osctra??

Renee: Kinda, no, and...no. This! *She pulls out a beautiful record player, the glass etched on top, in a cherry-blossomed japanese landscape, the laquered wood on the sides carved to resemble the sun rising and setting.* It ain't a radio, but it does play music!

Scooter: Wow! That's absolutely georgous! Where did he get it?

Renee: He made it himself. He was a master woodworker and glassmaker a long time ago. I think he was in WWII or something, and he had seen the beautiful woodworking they had done, and he tried it out himself.

Scooter: ..that's amazing. =D

Jim: It looks very well made.
Jerry: Did he give it to you?

Renee: Yeah, he wanted me to have it.
Jim: That was very sweet of him.
Frank: Put somethin' on. Let's hear it.

*She sets up the record player, and the 5 listen to music, the door open so everyone can hear the beautiful jazz and country flowing through the dorm.*

*gets up and takes a bath*

Grover: *yawns* Good sleep. I'm hungry. *thinks* Cereal!

*getting out of the bathroom and passes Renee's room* Great music there Renee. *opens door, closes door* Hey there Grover. Can you get me a bowl of cereal? I have to get ready for work.

Grover: Sure thing.

Thank you.

Few minutes pass......

That was good.

Grover: I am going to watch some tv.

Ok. I'll clean the kitchen.

Grover: Do not worry Kyle. I will clean it.

Ok. Thanks Grover. *sets down and watches tv too*

Beth: Thanks for bringing down some of that food that Ed made last night Red.
Red: You're welcome! It was very yummy!
Mokey: So Cantus went back to his room this morning
Beth: Oh, I didn't get to say goodbye. Oh well, I'm sure I'll see him around the dorms
Mokey: He said he had a very nice time and that we were gracious hostesses
Beth: Such a gentleman that Cantus
Red: No, he's a Fraggle
Beth: Ok, he's a gentle...oh never mind. Anyway, I gotta get to work, I'll see you guys later.

Ate a s....oh Prairie you've been reading my Princess Diaries books too much. I'm fine.Just been tired is all.The ol' seizure monster attacked me the other night. So it takes me a few days to get back to my old self.
Prairie:Awww...I'm sorry. Anything I can do to make you feel better?
Nah...I'm OK. *tired laugh* I gotta admit you made me laugh with that "ate a sock" reference though.
Prairie:Yeah...because that's the look that Mia's cat Fat Louie got on his face when he ate one of Mia's socks.All down & everything.
Yep...poor Fat Louie. I just hope that Gaffer doesn't get any ideas.
*Gaffer comes prancing in with her kitty toy*Prrttt...Meowand drops the kitty toy into my lap.
Heehee...OK you silly pussycat. Go get it! *throwing the toy*

*they enter room 3 together and sneak up behind Beth who is sitting at the desk*
Red and Mokey: SURPRISE!
Beth: Huh? What's this?
Red and Mokey: Happy 1 Year anniversary at MC! *hands Beth flowers*
Beth: Wow! These are beautiful! Thanks guys!
Red: You're the best roomie ever!
Mokey: And one of the nicest silly creatures we know, so we just wanted to show you how much we appreciate you.
Beth: Thanks so much, it's been the greatest year ever!

Aw... Hope you've enjoyed your "first" year here on MC Beth. Referenced in numerous stories with your clock shop... Wowing us with some great stories of your own... Keeping the activity here at the dorms going with swim team and cheerleading for the football team...
