Muppet College Dorms: The Next Semester

Lisa: I. Hate. Annotating.

Rowlf: What's annotating?

Lisa: It's when you read something, and you underline and circle and highlight all sorts of stuff, and you write stuff all over the margins like "irony" and "metaphor" and "simile" and "repetition" and "foreshadowing" and "so-and-so thinks such-and-such" and definitions for words you don't know and this that and the other thing and it's about as annoying than my sister's alarm going off at 4:30 in the morning! And English teachers absolutely LOVE to assign for us to annotate random articles and passages and every single book we read. And did I mention that I hate it?

Rowlf: Yeah, I think so.

Lisa: I hate it. It's probably THE main reason that English is no longer my favorite subject anymore. The other two reasons are bad teachers and symbolism. But I'll rant about that another time.

Chef: Shuooldn't yuoo be-a feenishing yuoor humoourk?

Lisa: <throws a rubber duckie at Chef>

Rowlf: Fowl!

Lisa: Yes, Chef, I should be finishing my homework. <sigh>.

You should really switch to reg. English Lisa. It's much better. But Alg. 2, GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. My teacher assigns ENTIRELY to many problems. I mean not like it's hard, math is easy, but it takes FOR-EVER. <grumble grumble> Stupid math <grumble grumble>. And I swear I have to carry around THE heaviest books. School, how I loathe thee.

Anyway on to happier things. Does everyone like my new avatar?

Count, in rain gear or at least a sweater and umbrella... Ah ha! Now we're getting into the peak point of the season! Mid-August to early September, the true black heart of the Atlantic Hurricane season. And that means lots of stormy days for me to count up the thunderclaps!

*Back inside... Oh hi Kathy... Maybe you'll have better luck with the DVD's tomorrow. Got some stuff to take care of before and after classes tomorrow and on Friday... Say, did you see the pictures I was hinting at?

Hey Ed! Yep...I saw the pics you were hinting about. They were meowvelous!
As for the DVDs I'll look tomorrow or Friday. I'll call Best Buy in the AM (that's morning...not "Anything Muppet ) and see if they're in

Gonna watch a bit of TV and then it's off to beddy-bye. Got an early wake-up call tomorrow.

Okay guys so, now that we're done with both DVD's what'd ya think?

Clifford: Man, they were both off the hook!

Lew: Yeah! I loved my cameo in MWoO!

UD: And my appearance on the season set was terribly frightening. No?

Eduardo: And you gotta love the penguins in MWoO to!

Yep! They were both wonderful DVD's! Let's watch 'em again shall we?

Prairie:S' Okay *getting up & stretching* What was the "Oh brother!" about?
Well...I called Best Buy around 9:30 thinking they were open. They weren't until 10.So then I called around 10:03. Got the same message about them not being open til 10. I waited another 20 minutes before calling again.Finally got an answer & asked about the Muppet Show Season 1 DVD. I was asked to hold on. Prairie...3 people asked me to hold on.
Prairie:Tell me you're kidding.
Nope. So when I finally talked to someone they said they didn't have it in stock & to check back tomorrow!
Prairie:WHAT? Sheesh!
Yeah...now I know how Kermit felt when he was looking for that "Kermit The Frog" T shirt & the salesman was showing him the wrong ones until he was told that the shirt wouldn't be ready til Wednesday! I talked to my sister a few minutes ago & she went to Wal-Mart to see if the MS DVD is there.
Prairie:Hopefully it will be.

*Talking aside to Bo: Nope, Bobo's been made available for roommate status again. His previous roomie already talked to me.

So... You can have him check in as your new roomie if you want. Just remember to send me an idea for his robe's design ASAP.

Bry: (sending out a mass memo to the dorm) Sorry haven't been around the dorms much. Been busy busy! Also things have been hectic at on our end of the hall with construction on Snuffy's new room. The Doozers have been busy drawing plans and Biff and Sully have been building. Hope the noise isn't too disrupting. We were told the addition would be finished soon.
