Claudia:
I hear singing.

Bunsen:
How pretty, especially in this time of year.

Claudia:
I hear ringing too.

Bunsen:
I also hear the wind asking "Who?"

Dr. Van Neuter:
Have you seen the gifts?

Beaker:
Meep.

Claudia:
I think they're under the bed.

Bunsen:
Check there instead...

Claudia:
I think it's snowing...

Beaker:
Meep?
(Looks out the window)

Dr. Van Neuter:
Why are we speaking in rhymes?

Bunsen:
I suppose it's caused by these holly-jolly times...

Claudia:
Wake me up when it's Christmas.
(Plops into bed)

Grover, Herry, Bruce and Murray come running out of their rooms

Herry: What is it Kyle?

Bruce: Yea. Me and Murray were playing the video game.

There is a new thing on ya'lls website.

Grover: We have a website?

Murray: What's a website?

Oh yea. I forgot ya'll don't know anything about that. But i found some old videos of all of you.

Bruce: Really?

Yep. It's really fun to see you all dancing or singing or just acting silly.

Grover: We do know that.

Murray: *starts acting silly by acting like a dog*

Bruce: That is one funny looking dog you have there sir.

It's a monstrous kinda of dog.

We all laugh

Grover: Me and Herry are decorating our room.

Ok. Ya'll can go back to what you were doing.

Monster: Yea! *all of them run off to their rooms*

Oh what a bunch of......goofy but furry friends. *goes back to the computer*

Bryan: (wakes up and walks into the main room)
Bert: Ssh here he comes.
Roomies: Happy birthday!
Bryan: Oh wow! Thanks, guys!
Big Bird: We all chipped in and made you a special birthday breakfast.
Bryan: Smells delicious. And is that a chocolate chip pancake?
Cookie: Yeah! Remember you made me that back when me first live with you?
Bryan: I remember and I hope you'll eat some with me this morning.
Cookie: Hey, you birthday boy. Whatever you wish! Ha ha!
Bryan: Gosh, this is really great, guys.
Bert: But that's not all!
Ernie: Yeah, because after breakfast we are all going out and having fun all day!
Bryan: Sounds nice, Ernie, but I think you forgot that I have 2 shows today.
Big Bird: On your birthday?
Bryan: I'm afraid so, Big Bird. But maybe we can do something a little later.
Big Bird: Okay.
Ernie: Yeah, sure.
Bryan: Let's just enjoy this great meal here.
All: Yeah!

(they all enjoy the wonderful breakfast)

Bunsen:
What the devil?
(Removes his glasses, only to put them back on again)

Dr. Van Neuter:
He kept eating your paperclips--I tried to stop him...
(Says flatly)

Beaker:
(His headless body "looks" for his missing head)

Bunsen:
(Gets a needle and a long piece of string)
Time to sew you back together, again.
(Sighs)

Beaker:
(Bumps against the wall)

Beige: The others asked us to stick this note on the door.
Storyteller: Yes...poor Nora, she's had two breakdowns already. But I think Erin and Scooter are starting in on the homestretch.

(Note attached to room 7's door)

Please pardon our apparent absence from the chats, due to the high level of end-of-term projects. Will poke our heads out and do some honest-to-goodness preparation for the holidays as soon as things start to lighten up a bit.

-signed:
Erin Michelle Roll (Muppet Newsgirl)
Eleanor Jane "Nora" Brandon
Scooter Hunt (aka Scooter Grosse, aka Scooter Hunt-Grosse)

Beige: You know, for a gofer he's got an awful lot of aliases.
Storyteller: Yes, well...come on, I've got a batch of chocolate-peppermint cookies baking, to tempt the beleaguered students with.
Beige: Ooh, save some for me. (the two Fraggles head back in)

Well... Things are looking better. That assignment has turned more manageable thanks to a friend who dropped by this afternoon, and I'll finish it tomorrow with mom's help.
*Bats leave an SST lamppost reading lamp we found at Cosmic Collectibles in town, wrapped with a bow and a sealed pack of chocolate squares for Bryan.

Beige: (eyeing still-hot cookies longingly) Those look good.
Storyteller: (making cocoa) They're not cool yet, Beige. The bits of candy cane in them are like lava.
Beige: Ouch.

(Storyteller pours several large mugs of cocoa)

Storyteller: Time to flush out the crammers...it's time for their caffeine break (marches down hallway, slamming doors open and barking orders to the occupants) You! Nora! Back away from that French grammar! And you! Scooter! Stop memorizing the purpose of the vacuoles and mitochondria! Erin! Cease and desist doing a historical analysis of "As You Like It!"

(crammers don't appear)

Storyteller: Beige, come here...
Beige: What's wrong?
Storyteller: It's not good - all this studying has warped their brains - it's turned them into zombies!

(slow, steady chant of "Study...study...study..." comes from the three rooms)

Bunsen:
Oh?
(Hears chanting from the other room)
A common side-effect,
but you learn to master it as you
learn your way to success!

Dr. Van Neuter:
Yeah, try not to snore your way to it!
Like, fight it! Kick it in the page...where it hurts!

Bunsen:
Books don't feel, Phillip.

Dr. Van Neuter:
I know...

Beaker:
(shakes head)
